I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m really happy about this product. We had our kitchen and living room redone last year, including the floors. Unfortunately, a lot of edge chipping occurred out of nowhere. The installer promised to fix things, but never did. A few months ago, we got a medium sized goldendoodle puppy, and that made the floors a lot worse. Lots of deep scratches and wood chipping. I figured I’d give this product a try. Our floors were in really bad condition for being not even 2 years old. At first, I tried the crayons, but they didn’t really do very well. Then tried the colored wood filler. The included colors weren’t a good match because I had a dark walnut color wood, but what worked was mixing the black and mahogany colors together, which made a very acceptable match. This stuff dries quite fast, and I found the best way to work with the wood paint is to apply it with a brush and then use a damp paper towel to lightly remove the excess paint after about 20-30 seconds. This is enough time for the paint to bond with the chipped wood and also have the excess wiped off. It was a bit of a learning experience, so I tried on a few easy spots to start off and worked my way up to the more challenging pieces. It was easy after the first 30 minutes. Overall, highly impressed by the product and definitely recommend.

I’ll start off by saying that I’m not an artist, and I don’t mix colors every day, neither for a living nor for fun. But I do understand how to get decent results when mixing colors. It was a little harder than I thought it would be to match a few pieces around my house. For a few pieces of black furniture in my office, it was easy. The color match was great, and the application was smooth. For some of the other pieces, in different tones of mahogany and oak, I wound up trying a few things to see if it would work. After mixing it as best I could, and playing it, and letting it dry, the finish wasn’t perfect. So, I tried putting on some of the filler and letting it dry a bit, leading the dyes get into the wood. Then, rather than letting it set up completely, I wiped it off. The result is that the scratch is not nearly as noticeable as it was, but the color is just a little too light, or a little too dark, or even a little too red. But the difference doesn’t stand out as much. You might have better luck than I did, but if I had to do it again, I would spend a little more to get a kit with more colors.

Exceeded my expectations! One of our cats caused a lot of damage to our kitchen cabinets when wanting treats. As a kitten, she would stretch and dig repeatedly on the top of the lower kitchen cabinet doors when wanting some. Our cabinets are very dark wood so the damage was very noticeable. But it’s okay, we love her more than cabinets and she grew out of doing it so we could finally fix them. These wood filler paints are beyond amazing. I mixed mahogany with black to match our wood. The cabinets look beautiful. We needed a lot of wood filler paint and there’s a lot in the tubes. Love the small brushes too. Can’t recommend this enough! Very easy to use!

As I am getting ready to move, I wanted to touch up some of the spots on the cabinets and floor. I purchased this kit because there are a variety of different methods to use. The crayons, which are supposed to fill the scratches with the colored wax, did not fill the cracks. The tubes of colored substance filled the cracks better but was not easy to apply and overflowed over the crack, making the spot more noticeable. The markers partially worked (preferred over the other methods) but some of the colors were dry. 😑 Overall, there is always a possibility for user error. However, I have used another marker product for furniture repair and prefer that brand to this one.

The furniture markers work great! My advise upon marking an area is to use your finger immediately to wipe over it. If you don't it will usually look darker than the furniture color. It will take some practice to choose the right color and mark it appropriately.

I suggest purchasing this item. I've used it at least 10 different times And with multiple colors, it's very easy to match your furniture and it blends in great for about ten bucks

We bought this kit when we moved out of our apartment and had some floor scratched from the dogs that we wanted to fix before we moved out. It did a great job at covering up the scratches and some are also not noticeable anymore. It has a good amount of colors to choose from. We ended up having to mix two of them to get the color we needed and it came out really good. The only problem is when you clean the floor the markers did wipe away, so I recommend using the paint filler since we did not have problems with that one.

Not as expected , i didn t find the required color

Great so far! Only used two of the markers and it worked perfect on my bedroom dresser. I found the best way to use the marker is go very lightly on the scratch mark or chip and then wipe over with a dry cloth immediately. In my case, it worked well cause two of the markers were a fairly good Match to my furniture. Very pleased with the results so far.
