How do you change backlight intensity - specs say 3 levels of brightness

There is a light and intensity key on the key board. However, my unit wouldn't charge!...I ent it back!!!....

How do I turn the backlight on?

Is there an instruction manual for this? I got one for my mother in law and she needs a manual.

I didn't get an instruction manual with mine. It's just like a regular keyboard, and the Bluetooth paired to my tablet just like my other Bluetooth accessories (i.e. headphones, speaker).
