NECA Marvel Dice Masters: The Amazing Spider-Man Starter, Red

So, I have had this 2 player starter set since 2015 from my local comic book shop and eventually The Uncanny X-Men 2 player starter set to expand my card and dice pool to play the regular version of the game and not be limited to the 2 player starter game variant. I bought this set again and The Uncanny X-Men set to give to my mother for her birthday so we can play together with our own card and dice pool. This game is very fun to play, and if you are familiar with Magic the Gathering, some of the attacking mechanics are used from that game for Dice Masters and it works well for this game. You can mix and match characters from Spider-Man and his Spidey friends, or X-Men and the Avengers, or even mix and match characters from DC Comics superheroes and villains and even some other licensed properties like Yu-Gi-Oh. The build quality for the dice are very high quality and if taken care of properly, should last for years for many games. This games has been fun for me to play every time I play it and I am happy to share my experience of this game with my mother and having a good time playing this game with her. If you are looking for a good superhero tabletop game to play or even gift to a family member or friends even, I highly recommend this product to any comic book fan. Just remember to buy more sets to expand your card and dice pool to create more teams as you can so that you can have a different game experience every time you play it. Product came in great condition. The game itself is very fun, glad to have some Spideys to field!

For the casual player this is a nice set that has everything for 1 player to begin playing. All characters are related to Spider-Man and has a mix of heroes and villians. Nothing here really applicable to the competitive game. Best part is probably the basic actions which are mostly Spider-man themed and can fit in nicely with other casual teams. You'll have to buy two if you want maximum dice allowed for each card.

Not the easiest to learn but fun to play

good lord this was SUPER difficult to learn, the instructions are TERRIBLE. Thankfully there is youtube. The game is fun but they don't give you much, This is a 'starter set', but you need to PRINT your own board? better to start with a bigger set..

My son saved up for this, and although it is geared toward older children, he bought it and loves to play it. My husband had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to figure it out, but this game provides some great father/son time. My husband printed out two game boards, mounted them and laminated them. We use dry erase markers to keep score.

Confezione eccellente, anche se un po' troppo voluminosa per quelo che contiene, il set ha tutto ciò che serve per una partita tra due giocatori, il numero di carte non è straordinario, ma abbastanza per dare buona variabilità alle partite, nei negozi dedicati si trovano i pacchetti espansione a buon prezzo. La qualità dei materiali è molto buona per quanto riguarda le carte ed eccezionale per i dadi personalizzati Il gioco come consigliato dalla confezione è per ragazzi dai 12 anni in su ed è un buon requisito per affrontare il gioco che offre una buona dose di strategia impegnandosi nel comprenderlo.
