Here's my review for the HyperX Alloy Core rubber membrane keyboard in August 2022 in which I award 5 out of 5 stars. Really the most impressive thing about this keyboard how very easy to press the keys are, even a gentle soft touch will depress the key. It's almost like touching the hem of the cloak of a ghost... I actually like this better than a mechanical keyboard because those keys are harder to press, and they are also louder. Especially the space bar on this keyboard, it's smooth as butter. Typing is very much a breeze, I think my words per minute went up a little bit compared to my mechanical keyboard that I was using before. The colors are beautiful, and there are a few different casual choices like red, green, purple, blue, etc. There is a special key that you can use to control the intensity of the colors. There's another key that works to disable the Windows key during gaming, so you don't press it by mistake and your entire game minimizes to desktop. Hey man, we've all been there. For twenty five bucks you can't go wrong, this has to be among the best keyboards out there at that price. I got mine refurbished, it seems to be basically brand new or in otherwise excellent condition, I can't find any obvious signs of it being used.

I bought this for work so didn’t need the lighted keyboard but it looked like it would be fun to add a little color to a boring keyboard. As you can see you can set it to different colors or color changing. You can turn it off if you just want the boring keyboard. I love the colors. It has a great feel and took me almost no time at all to adjust to a new keyboard. It’s a little bigger than my old one because it has the color changing buttons above the top row. It responds well and I feel like I am typing faster. Or maybe it’s just more comfortable. Overall great purchase.

Initially, I bought this keyboard due to my previous one stopped working. I researched on the quality and price of all keyboards within an appropriate price range and this one caught my attention. I had previously purchased products from HyperX, but this would be the first time I had ever bought a keyboard from them. The keys feel fantastic against my fingers and the clacking they emit is pleasurable to my ear. They can be quite loud, but perfect if you're the type of person into that! The control buttons above are extremely useful and I love using them every chance I get. Only downside I have with this keyboard is the inability to use HyperX's Ngenuity with it. Though that feature alone isn't really important and I could care less. The keyboard is absolutely amazing if you're looking for something within a budget for gaming or regular use. Highly recommend!

This is a refurbished keyboard, so price was good. Shipping speed wasn't anything to write home about but keyboard was well packaged and protected for shipment. When I opened the package, the keyboard appeared to be new. I did not notice any blemishes. I checked all the keys and they all worked. The RGB feature appeared to work like a new one. I have two of these keyboards already so bought this one for my wife's computer. This keyboard is built to take a lot of abuse. It's significantly heavier than my previous boards. I also like the braided USB cord. All in all, an excellent board for a reasonable price.

Works great, lights up great only complaint is that the keystroke are very loud. I have a 10 yr boy who plays roblox and I have to send him into another room as the clicking from the keys is very loud.

Great keyboard. My last one lasted 6 years. This one is just as good. Also heavy enough to use as a cudgel against intruders.

Great keyboard ! Its responsive, has a nice feel, and looks great especially at night.

I have had this keyboard for awhile now. I use it for everyday use along with coding. The membrane keys feel very nice to type on and have never had a miskey press with it. The media buttons are a nice touch and the colorways and brightness of them are not overpowering. The keys are quiet and not clacky. Great everyday keyboard
