I uderwent two major ear operations and since I have had trouble with my hearing and my ears. I need to be on the phone to be able to conduct my work but having the phone pressed to my ear or using earphones makes my ears hurt and the tinnitus so much worse at night. Since I bought this conference speaker the sound is clear enough to hear the microphone works fantastic and I dont have as much pain at the end of the day. The ringing is still there but it doesn't exacerbate as much as it did with the phone speaker pressed directly on my ear. It was easy to set up with my system and really easy to use. Another plus is when the kids are home and im in my office on a call it cuts out all the background noise so the clients can't hear anything but my voice. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this as a replacement for a Jabra 500 bluetooth that finally died because the battery failed, not only is this 1/3 of the price of a replacement Jabra, its better quality, the sound quality and noise cancelling is really excellent, the microphone pickup is also really really good from across the room you can be easilly heard. the output sound quality is a little light, not enough bass. The bluetooth setup is really simple as is the USB setup (literally just plug it in) its is an all round excellent build quality also, I really cant fault it, and for the price is an absolute bargain.

For the most part this works great, I've used it with MS Teams on my laptop and Zoom, FB Messenger and regular old calls on my phone. It can even connect to my laptop and my phone simultaneously. Sound quality is good for calls but not quite rounded enough for me for music - but I only got it for calls anyway. The only problems I found with it are that it doesn't seem to like 2 people talking from different angles and different distances on FB Messenger calls. My wife and I tried to use it for talking to family and the first time it struggled picking her voice up but would pick my voice up ok. I had updated the firmware already and set the speaker to 'conference mode'. We're both normally softly spoken but I was directly in front of it about a metre away and she was to the side of it about 1.5 metres away. Since then I have tried more experimentation and it seems to work best when it's on a hard surface, you're close to it, roughly equidistant and you make an effort to speak clearly, but she still struggles with it and doesn't like it overall. The only other minor issue I found was the mute button doesn't sync up with MS Teams so there is the opportunity to double-mute yourself, but I only tend to use one anyway. Other than those things I think it is good overall and makes a useful addition to my office bag.

Had been considering one of these for the home office and have been really impressed with how this performs. Works just as well with the PC or Mobile, seamlessly connecting between the two. Excellent voice audio quality, and the microphone performance is much better than the built in ones on my laptop. The only negative is that it's not great for music, but not designed to be I guess. Handy extra feature is that you can use the battery to charge your mobile if needs be.

2nd Anker product, great quality

I bought this as I was sick of wearing a headset all day every day on never-ending meetings, so my review is written based on one person using this on a desk. Pros: - The speaker is decent quality and I can always hear others clearly - On Teams and Zoom the microphone works well, with others being able to hear me clearly - It does eliminate fatigue from wearing a headset all day - Fairly small size and works well on a compact desk - Decent battery life - does live up to its claim when working over bluetooth Cons: - The mute button does not control the apps; it only mutes the mic separately. This can cause confusion, or a delay in unmuting with mouse/keyboard. It also means that the "answer phone / hang up" button on the speaker is useless - The mic is virtually unusable with Skype - something with how that program interfaces means I do not come through clearly on that program alone (noise gate maybe?) - The volume is always sat at one notch above minimum; sometimes I would sooner it were quieter but the precision of adjustment is not enough All in all, for the price I was hoping for more. If I were to have the opportunity again I'd either pick up a Jabra with app-integration, or just buy a desktop mic for less money and use laptop speakers.

I was looking for a desktop conference speaker as it was tiring wearing headphones for work. I have had the odd issue in MS Teams when the mic doesn't appear to work but that's over a VPN connection so I'm not sure if this could occasionally cause an issue and, in any case, a quick restart usually resolves this. Excellent for hand-free phone use. Can easily hear the other person and they report hearing me very clearly, even when I'm walking about. Generally seems to work fine in Zoom and MS Teams. I wish I had bought this sooner as it's so handy for hands-free phone use - btw connected to Android phone. Recommended. Thanks.

For the price it is a good conference speaker. I have it attached to my laptop dock via the USB cable. For Teams meetings (which most of mine are) it works really well. You will need the latest firmware update (via the mobile app) to get the Teams integration. Sadly there is no integration with Zoom which is really disappointing. The only other issue I have found is that the speaker is paired to my mobile via Bluetooth but also connected to my laptop via USB at the same time. If the USB is connected the speaker cannot seem to handle two devices and switch between the two. If I get a call on my mobile, or try to listen to music there is no sound until I disconnect the USB lead from the speaker. I have now unpaired the speaker from my phone. I am hoping that maybe both these issues will be fixed by a future firmware update, at which time I would happily give 5 stars.

So anyone spending time on conference calls knows a crappy mic and speaker is annoying to the user, and the people they're talking to. My laptop's microphone loved to pick up the sound of the CPU cooling fan, others told me it sounded like I was on my motorcycle! I tried a headset, but those are annoying in other ways, fortunately I have the room to myself so I can use a speaker. Well, the Anker conference speaker is great quality, especially for the money. The audio is clear and loud, SO much better than your phone's speakerphone function. And this works with both your phone AND a computer, but not at the same time. If you plug this unit into a computer, the computer recognizes it as a mic and speakers easily, and works great, but YOU CAN NOT USE THE BLUETOOTH SPEAKERPHONE WHILE IT IS PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER. I put that in all caps so it would stand out, I thought it was going to do both for me, but I later realized that wouldn't work anyway, but I know others will think the same as I did. If it connected to your phone, it would interrupt the conference call, so in reality, that's not a bad thing, but the computer doesn't release "control" over it even if the conference call has ended, so if it's plugged into the computer, your phone can't use it. Your phone still connects and sends audio to it, but it's ignored, so you can't hear your phone! That said, you can connect both computer and phone by Bluetooth, but connection behavior wasn't consistent and it wouldn't always do what I wanted it to (and honestly there's no way to program it to know what your preference might be at any given moment). So it doesn't do what you want it to, but it does what it needs to. I've only used it for a few phone calls, and it worked great, so much louder and easier to speak to than your phone on a conference table. Lastly, it's not as big as the photo makes it look, nor does it fit in your pocket, but it fits in a computer bag making it a great tool for the road warrior. BTW Amazon, you want me to rate this device on "Sheerness". Really ?

Oggetto acquistato per una serie di lezioni online (ho la lavagnetta wacom per scrivere) in concomitanza con una webcam sempre anker, in modo da migliorare microfoni/webcam del mio portatile Lenovo (sufficienti, ma nulla di più). L'upgrade è notevole: mi sentono alla perfezione, davvero come se fossi lì. La batteria dura tantissimo (usato per 10 ore, sono al 90% ancora). L'audio che restituisce il dispositivo non è potente ma chiarissimo, perfetto per lo scopo (conferenze). Sono davvero soddisfatto del prodotto (del resto, Anker è una garanzia praticamente su tutto, per quel che mi riguarda). Forse un tantino costoso, ma ne vale la pena se lo usate. Arriva con una confezione semirigida idonea al trasporto
