Review: My personal views - Peak. Tbh. Tho the desertcart company should improve their packaging of these kind of books.. i bought it 3 months ago. Slight yellowing. But still holding up. Tldr NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. If you live with your parents. Hide it. If a kid comes in your house. HIDE IT. But now looking back there isn't that much of things to be re readable. It's the best.Weighs 1.8 kg.Yk the art is amazing (assuming you've read until now).The paper is thick which makes it feel amazing.The deluxe edition looks way better irl than in these pictures. PS-The paper smells great.

Gruesome, traumatic but peak It's good quality but not real leather. Packaging is alright not too good. Buy if you want the ending of eclipse and chapter 87

End of the Golden Age, onto Conviction
This deluxe book 5 covers Vol 13-15, spanning the end of the Golden Age and the start of the Conviction arc after the long flashback (and most popular segment) that gives specific context to where the protagonist Guts is at the beginning of the story (Deluxe Book 1 - The Black Swordsman arc). The biggest twist of Berserk, the Eclipse, is in unholy oversized format for the reader to pause and enjoy. Conviction arc sees Guts' biggest character turning point post this in terms of realizing the self-effacing errors of his ruthless, hubristic Black Swordsman persona and a recurring trope of his association with lost children; him being one himself, is yet again reinforced. Conviction (which will continue into the upcoming Book 6) is Berserk at it's most critical of dogma and iconoclastic, and the Will to Power nature of Guts himself is a fitting vehicle to convey these theological/social critiques. The book itself; like the other deluxes is a beautiful leathery sleek beast of a tome. Looks unbelievably good on a shelf.

Great story and awesome art
Berserk is one of the best Mangas I've ever read. The story is great and the art is just Amazing. Miura made a Masterpiece and this deluxe volume is just awesome.
