Does it have a floor to keep out snakes and insects?

No, it doesn't have a floor. We generally don't have much trouble with snakes or insects out on the lake when ice fishing. But you've given us food for thought for some of our other products!

Can I use buddy heater in this tent?

Yes. I have this hut and use a buddy heater in it all the time and it works great. Keep in mind I live in Idaho where most of my ice fishing is in 15 degree weather or warmer

what is the length folded down?

When folded down and in carrying bag which has slings to wear like a back pack, it measures fro just below too of my head to halfway between my knees and waist
