Supplied bolts too short, otherwise solid
UPDATE: HumanCentric contacted me, and gave me a full refund. Extremely good customer service, and I have changed this review from 3 to 5 stars as a consequence. I just hope that they start supplying longer bolts to future customers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: As other have written, the main bolts that connect the bracket to the monitor mount are too short. On my monitor, they weren't even long enough for the threads to catch. The supplied bolts are m6-100, 15 mm in length. I ended up buying and using m6-100 25mm length bolts, which worked very well. 20mm length might work on monitors with greater curvature on the back than mine. Once you get adequate bolts, this mount is quite solid and as easy to install as anything can be on Apple gear. Definitely a good value for the cost. It's crazy to me that the manufacturer does not supply decent length bolts (or bolts of multiple lengths), as mine problem seems to be quite common. Were it not for that issue, this would be a 5 star review.

Exactly what you're looking for
HumanCentric did a great job in writing the description for the product as well as giving you a general sense that although this isn't crazy difficult, there may be some bumps in the road during installation. After ordering they sent out an email describing everything in a little more detail, along with offering to help walk through it once everything was received. All the necessary tools are included in the package so all you need is a little bit of time to get everything installed. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Actual installation wasn't all that difficult as I was prepared for a real mess. The absolute most difficult and most important part is to MAKE SURE THE STAND IS LOCKED INTO PLACE once you use the included card to access the screws. After I took out a few screws the stand started to slip back into the iMac but luckily I was able to get it to release and lock again. TL;DR - Great product. Easy instructions and preparation. Once installed everything works perfectly and looks awesome mounted on the wall swing arm.

Perfect fit, easy install
I purchased this mount adapter after a different one I ordered was completely incompatible with my Thunderbolt 27” monitor. This one fit perfectly, and even comes with soft plastic covers where the mount meets the back of the monitor for a snug yet protective fit. It came with all the tools necessary, and was a simple installation process; only took me about 15 minutes total. If I had one criticism, it’s that I expected the metal to be a bit more dense and solid, but I don’t foresee any issues coming up in the future as it’s not particularly brittle.

While it works fine, I think it would be great if they ...
I used this on my Thunderbolt display. I had to read the reviews to confirm that the gap that occurs is intentional. While it works fine, I think it would be great if they included some sort of spacer(s) I realize they need to accomodate different curvatures. But perhaps rubber washers/grommets- to fill the gap and add confidence/improve aesthetics. I'd think it would help reduce the risk of over-tightening as well. In any case, the directions were otherwise clear and was very easy to install. I'd definitely suggest adding the warning about the gap to the directions.

Far Easier than i figured
process was quick and predictable- far easier than i thought it would be. Now for like $25 my 10 year old Thunderbolt monitor is finally off my desk...it just floats above ⬆️ it on a wall mounted arm.Should have done ✅ it years ago. I feel like i have 40% more desk space now.

Exactly what you need to arm-mount your Apple Display
A few years ago I bought some USB-powered Video meeting LED lights from HumanCentric. The controller failed and HumanCentric quickly acknowledged the known issue and quickly mailed me an updated controller. I still use the lights to this day! For this reason I did not hesitate to buy another product from them. Their mount is well-built and comes with everything you need to arm-mount your old Apple Display, even the card tool to remove your factory stand! Took me less than 10 minutes! I am very happy and would not hesitate to buy any product they offered expecting it to be well designed, well made, well packaged, clear instructions, and people of integrity standing behind it. Thank you HumanCentric. Perfect!

Two ordered, one was used and partially functional.
Bought two of these and one of the packages was obviously a previously opened one (mfg packaging was torn in multiple spots and taped). The one that hasn’t been opened fit perfectly as expected while the one that someone didn’t want and I got stuck with didn’t. One of the screws was stripped and in order to make it work I had to remove part of the plastic that prevents damaging. I added some double stick tape instead as I don’t have time to deal with a return. My expectation when ordering a NEW item is exactly that, NEW item. I don’t expect to receive someone else’s return that has been stripped to the point it’s partially functional. Time will tell if using this mount is going to damage my monitor due to not having the plastic spacers but I needed to get back to coding.

Worked great for A1407 Thunderbolt Display
I have a mid-2011 Thunderbolt display and wanted to mount on a monitor arm. This VESA adapter worked perfectly, is made of machined aluminum and came with all the right screws and tools to get the job done. They even included a special bent piece of plastic to properly unlock the stand so you can reveal the attachment screws to remove the stand and attach the mount. Read their instructions because for my mounting setup, there was about a 3/8" gap between the mounting block and the plate, so it seemed like things didn't fit properly but this is by design. Just don't overtighten the two bigger mounting screws, otherwise you'll bend the aluminum bracket. The gap didn't seem to be an issue and the monitor is securely mounted now.

The bracket doesn't touch the flange
Same as some other reviews. This looks worrying when I installed it to my 27” Thunderbolt Display: The bracket doesn't touch the flange by a centimetre or two. It’s barely being held together by the tip of the two screws, don’t know for how long.
