Love Hetty. Brilliant little hoover. Great suction. I ordered then found it cheaper in Curry’s and Argos so was disappointed at that as thought Amazon would of been cheaper.

There isn't much self-assembly and what little there is, is easy. Hetty is very efficient and easy to manoeuvre, especially when vacuuming under furniture. After trying several similar products, we are more than happy to have Hetty living with us and helping with the housework alongside Harry. As for VFM, I don't think you can beat it, and to top it all, we got next day delivery. 🙂

I have a Henry and thought this Hetty would not be as powerful but if anything it is more powerful. Excellent for pet hairs and so easy to use.

Brilliant just what is needed in a carpet free hot, sandy rural environment. At last a vacuum that clears sand and dog hairs!

At last! Yippeeeee!!! A vacuum cleaner that exceeds all my expectations. After consigning many, MANY vacuums to the Vacuum Graveyard in the basement, I expect this one to be around for a long time. We have a lot of animals, hard floors and disabilities to contend with. We have to vacuum the whole house every day at least and stick vacuums (cordless ones) have been a total and complete failure. Vacuums in this house do have a lot to live up to. Even when they seem promising to begin with they just can't keep up the pace and give up after a few months to a year. Useless. I have also tried several "well reviewed" cylinder vacuums (wish I got paid for trying all these vacuums!) over the years and they have just not lived up to their expectations at all. They have been fairly quiet as promised (which is one of my priorities) but talk about clunky! Try manoeuvering them around the house. No, no, no. None of them followed me around nicely. All of them struggled to not get tangled in the wire and all of them spent more time whacking my ankles then "gliding effortlessly" around the floor. Plus, the hose and handles were all thick, chunky, awkward and actually painful for me to use. The suction power on these things has also been something rather disappointing, despite the claims and reviews. Sigh. So, moving on to my new friend Hetty here. After weeks of intensive research (I know, I know, but it was necessary!) I finally purchased her along with a Sebo upright vacuum (reviewed elsewhere). All that frustration with vacuums melted away as I started her up for the first time. First of all she is sooooo cute! I admit, I do like pink but she is also just the perfect size for me. Very, very light and easy to manoeuvre. This vacuum really is very quiet. It works excellently on our hard floors. You can alter the head easily for hard of soft floors but might prefer to buy the turbo brush if you have a lot of carpets. It has excellent suction which you can alter as you go easily on the handle. And I do mean excellent. I am not easy to impress. The handle is long and thin and very comfortable. I find most handles too think or not ergonomic and they hurt my hands and wrists. This one is perfect for me. The hose is very long and you can purchase an EVEN longer one if you so wish. But this is good enough for me and Hetty is easy to lift for the stairs. The cord winds and unwinds so easily using a turny thing on the lid. What brilliant engineering! Hetty follows me around very obediently. No more bashing my ankles or getting frustrated at having to life the vacuum over a cord. The air is super filtered too. The bags last a long time, are easy to find (buy genuine ones though!) are economical and easy to change. The tools sit nicely on Hetty and the hose stands neatly on a bracket at the back when she is resting. Everything about this vacuum shows quality and thought and I wish I had bought one years ago. It is also a reasonable price unlike many other brands I could mention. I am trying hard to think of a negative, just to balance this review. Hmmmmmmmmm. Nope. I can't think of one.My husband is a massive fan of her too and likes to take her out for day trips which is a bonus. This one is a keeper and I expect her to be around for many years.
