KOHLER K-394-4-PB Devonshire® Widespread Bathroom Sink Faucet, Pop-Up Drain Assembly, 3-Hole Bathroom Faucets, 2-Handle, 1.2 GPM, Vibrant Polished Brass

I installed 2 in my master bath, replacing the 30 year old original fixtures. Two new supply lines were also needed per faucet (I used the HIGHCRAFT CNCT1671-2 Braided Faucet Connector With 1/2'' x 3/8'' Brass Nut, Stainless Steel 16 In). The original hot and cold valves under the sink should be replaced because they are for copper pipe, not the above flexiple supply lines. I recommend SharkBite 23036LFA4 Compression Angle Stop Valve, 1/2 Inch x 3/8 Inch, Push-to-Connect, 4 Pack. You can de-solder, or if enough pipe just cut off, the old valves and merely push these Shark Bites onto the pipe, no soldering required. The only other tip needed is to use teflon tape on the end of the provided SS drain pipe that screws into the stopper control portion of the drain. Mine leaked without it and I had to add the teflon tape after the initial installation. I am very pleased with the look and quality of these faucets.

I've never had a Kohler facet before mainly because they're stupid expensive. But I found this one with an open package (huge discount) from Amazon, claiming the contents are perfect - no blemishes and supposedly all parts included. Sure enough, the package looked new to me and the contents were indeed perfect. Wow... Kohler quality is evident. Compared to the Delta being replaced, this facet is better engineered. More solid in construction and easier to install. Installation was a breeze and no drips once everything turned back on. Absolutely beautiful faucet and I am very happy with my purchase.

I am very happy with the faucet's finish quality. I am also happy with the method used to secure the faucet handles to the counter top. It is greatly improved over the last faucets we installed. The under counter threaded ring, with it's two locking screws, makes securing the faucet much easier than trying to properly torque a large nut in a limited space. I would have given this product five stars if not for an issue with the supplied drain pipe assembly. The shaft of the brass flange has an outside diameter of approximately 1.65 inches while my sink drain hole has a diameter of approximately 1.45 inches. I don't know that there is a typical diameter for sink drain holes but the Delta drain assembly that was being replaced fit. Since my sink is a designer sink made in the late 70's, this might not be an issue for most people. Replacing the sink, or attempting to enlarge the drain hole, were not viable options. I ended up purchasing a new drain assembly (Wolverinebrass) from a local plumbing supplier in order that the drain flange would match the polished brass faucet.

I absolutely love it. Don’t know about easy installation, hired a plumber. The only disadvantage is that it makes the rest of the bathroom look worn. Time for an update! Expensive but we’ll worth it.

The included installation instructions were somewhat generic. Each step was purposefully brief (so they could be generic). They didn’t talk about adding the ornamental ring at the base of the faucet, and they talked about securing the handles with a ring and two screws, but no rings and screws were included. On further examination there was nowhere for the screws to go into the handles to secure them. Checking the Kohler site for this faucet, it says that these handles are secured by large flat nuts, not a ring and 2 screws. I contacted the Amazon Seller (Mott Company), who had included a card in the box to contact them if anything was wrong or missing. I got an immediate email back on Friday at 4:00 saying “We are out of the office for the weekend. We will reply back to you Monday as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great weekend.” It is now the end of the day on Tuesday and I still haven’t heard from them. I’m going to spend $25 to get the nuts and washers from the Kohler site. I’m not satisfied with this experience. If I had seen the multiple reviews that talked about pre-opened boxes and pre-used hardware I would have never taken the chance on this expensive faucet. How much do you have to spend on a faucet to get a decent experience??

Great quality as it is a Kohler product. Difficult to find in stock in bath renovation establishments. Looked on Amazon and they had many more than the 3 that we needed to update our master and powder room. Stunning with our new vanities.

I can't rate how easy it was to install. My handyman did it fairly quickly. I felt it was fairly priced. It looks really nice, although I would have preferred a simple design. Time will tell how it holds up. I like Kohler products.
