I was looking for a teapot (not necessarily a kettle) & I got both in one item. Because it's metal, it can't be used in the microwave (sigh), but heats up nicely on the stovetop. I mean if you are having tea, you can't really hurry anyway. It has a little plate to keep the hot teapot from burning your tabletop surface. It's small enough to put on an end table next to your comfy chair. It makes 2 cups of tea (anymore and you'll float away). I love the infuser/strainer insert for loose leaf tea because it keeps the tea leaves from getting into the drinkable tea better than other infuser/strainers I have. The twine keeps the handle from burning you but the lid doesn't have a similar protection. I love the design, the color. I'm using it everyday! Love it!

This little tea kettle is perfect! Heavy and substantial, but well balanced, and beautifully designed. The infuser fits as it should and is of good quality. Does not leak leaves or shake into the brew! It makes me smile every time I use it! If you're on the fence on this purchase, don't be.

Absolutely amazing. Easy to clean. Perfect for use over flame. Beautiful. Unfortunately doesn’t hold much. But. Worth the money in my opinion. The hot plate really makes it worth it as it allows you to put it down without scolding surfaces.

It’s small and can steep 2 cups of tea (12oz realistic tea cups) I’m sure one can get 16oz If you need to steep your Oolong, Lemon Balm, Ashwagandha Root, Corn Silk or any other raw leaf, root tea that needs to be steeped at a boiling point to get the benefits of the tea you’re enjoying, watch for spillage It’s incredibly easy to clean and retains head extremely well. For example, this morning I brewed some roasted oolong to start my day, I had a cup before my shower and it was still very warm when I got out to have my second. It’s gorgeous. I love that it compliments my decor and tea station. With a great matching place to rest the hot tea pot, it’s a great value for the spent

Beautiful kettle - makes teatime so special!

This is a very good cast iron teapot for the price with the accompanying trivet. I've had a lot of fun brewing Green Tea and Yerba Mate with it.

It always feels special to make tea from this tea pot. I just need to replace my small japanese style cups which the kids smashed for the full feeling. It's great that the strainer is easy to wash. What's not to love about this teapot, I'm very happy with it.
