Don't spend $300 on one of these; this one works great! It's affordable, adjustable and easily calibrated. Unless you're a professional that requires consistently precise measurements, this one will do the job. It's got a great display, and the slides function flawlessly. Get this one!

From what I can tell so far, these are pretty good calipers at a great price. Precision seems to be accurate, I even tried moving the slide back and forth very quickly to throw it off track, and it seemed to hold its values perfectly. The calipers themselves are easy to zero, you simply close them, press a button, and you're good to go. What's also nifty about these is that it does have the ability to swap between inches and millimeters on the fly, and you can still get general readings from it even if the battery is dead because of the easy to read scale. Calipers themselves are good quality and everything you would expect from a set, and they come with a very convenient and functional protective case, in addition with a couple of extra batteries, and a screwdriver for battery replacement. The calipers can also be locked into place so the reading doesn't change, and it has a pretty cool auto start feature where if you start moving the calipers open, it will kick on and began giving you readings so you don't have to worry about resetting the claws and turning it on from scratch. All in all, I like this a lot, highly recommended!

This digital caliper is excellent. The stainless steel build feels solid and durable, and the measurements are accurate every time. The slide is smooth, the display is clear, and it works exactly the way a good caliper should. For the price, the quality is impressive and it’s perfect for precise measuring jobs.

The locking thumb screw on top is particularly handy: I will often take a measurement of a small piece (requiring two hands), then lock the reading and take a photo with my phone for my notes later. The case is nice, but didn't hold the calipers as securely as I'd like. I also didn't like the spare batteries rattling around in there, so I took the larger foam square from the bottom right, lightly scored it repeatedly with a razor until it was cut cleanly in half and moved it up to hold the calipers better and slipped the other spare battery in the space that remained. I did similar for the screwdriver. I only wish there was some kind of pocket for the instructions, because I like to keep those. Even a place to pinch them in like on the inside of a DVD/Blu-ray case would be nice.

The digital display is bright, easy to read, and switches effortlessly between inches and millimeters with the push of a button, which makes it great for projects that need both. Accuracy has been spot-on when checked against known gauges, and zeroing at any position lets you do relative measurements without fuss. Battery life seems very good so far too; haven’t had to change it yet. Whether you’re working on machining, woodworking, or even hobbies like 3D printing, this digital caliper is a super-helpful tool. My primary use has been for 3d printing and measurements for CAD designs.

I needed these to measure 1 thing and these were perfect for that. Not too expensive but did the job I needed it to do. Easy to use and display was eady to read.
