Good meter with modbus
Meter is good, seems good build quality and features. Supports modbus remote communication which works well and all parameter are available via modbus. However the supplied datasheet had an error where the registers function codes are mixed up and I found it by trial and error. Fn code 3 should be 4 and vice versa. Wrote about this to the company, but only met with silence. Attaching corrected datasheet here which may be useful for people trying to implement modbus on this.

Good made in india product
Good to see made in India product with great accuracy and modbus function works fine. But the price is higher than the local shop, thats where its a deal breaker to buy from Amazon.

Was not compatible otherwise good
I wanted to use it as zero export device on my growatt inverter. Unfortunately this device was not compatible with that. I had to return it otherwise it is an India made product with decent quality and functionality . One of the best energy meter out there. You can easily monitor imorted and exported energy.

Perfect meter for IoT and metering for household.
Pros: -1. Perfect meter for household (single phase) metering application.2. MODBUS protocol allows interfaces over IoT to other boards for remote monitoring of power consumption.3. MODBUS communication is isolated from mains high voltage (safe to use).4. Monitor all parameters -- V, I, PF, Freq, KVAR, KW, KVA..5. User manual explains all address and means to interface with MODBUS master.6. Form factor is same as MCB. Hence fits perfectly inside switch box.7. Made in India.Cons: -1. Slightly expensive.2. Manufacturer (Selec) never responded to any of my query. I had received replies from China and Taiwan for similar meter, but never from Selec (Mumbai).
