Little in size but great in use. It is sturdy but not too heavy to move when needed. A unique design that allows easy use in a confined area of worktop.

I bought this item on sale a few weeks ago, to make bread dough. I've made a couple of loaves with differing hydration and both have turned out great. The mixer couldn't be simpler to use, with a timer that counts up to 10 minutes (after which time, if it's been running continuously, you'll need to stop and let it cool down for 20 minutes or so) and a dial for speed and that's it. It feels solid and well made and the attachments are neatly stored in a caddy that sits in the bowl when not in use, which I really appreciate because I can't lose track of them or get frustrated with them taking up space in drawers. The suction power is enough to ensure the mixer doesn't move about while in use. Unlike other reviews, I don't find it super noisy. I'm happy with my purchase and hope it stands up to the test of time.

I bought this stand mixer a I’ve been looking for one for some time and it was on a good offer. I’ve previously owned a Kitchen Aid heavy duty mixer, which was both fiddly and a bit large for my kitchen. This seemed to fit the bill for one that’s up to all home kitchen tasks, compact and easy to clean. It arrived on time and so far I’m happy with its robustness and versatility. It’s mixed baked, pizza and bread dough and pasta dough with no problem. It is far easier to clean than I’d expected and stores everything within itself, which really helps. I do have to agree, this is not a quiet machine, which is why I’ve taken it down from 5 to 4 stars.

Disappointed. I use this mixer for pizza dough and it has stopped working. It always smelt a bit of burning when using and sometimes seemed to struggle a little but managed. Now it has stopped working altogether. On inspection the gear inside which is made of plastic is completely worn. No replacement parts available and Morphy Richards not interested unless I can show the problem existed when I bought the unit. Very loud when in use but as it was only for 10 minutes I wasn’t bothered but it may put some off.

I have been using my food processor and handheld electric whisk for years when baking. I hIt worked but have always hankered after an electric mixer stand but just do not have the counter space for it. I chanced across the Morphy Richards Mixstar and it seemed to be everything I wanted and needed. And that's exactly what it has proved to be. I love it. I love everything about it. A) It's compact. B) It is easy to use. C) It's easy to clean. D) In fact, it does everything it claims to do. I have only had it a week or so and have already used it five times. For me it has been the perfect solution and I'm glad I waited so many years for it to cone along!

Arrived in it’s original packaging which I liked. Eco friendly choice. I bought this mixer specifically for mixing dough and cakes. Definitely powerful enough for all kinds of dough. Have used this for focaccia, granary, multi-seeded and pizza dough with no issues at all. Muffins, sponge cakes and also a very fruity Christmas cake were also easy to prepare. There are quick guide cards to suggest which mixer heads and which setting to best use. These are super handy and small enough to store inside the mixer. I specifically ordered this mixer as it ranked highly as a compact mixer. I don’t have a great deal of worktop space and this easily fits in a kitchen cupboard. All the accessories fit inside the mixing bowl so it’s perfect if you’re short on space. I love the timer function, super handy for dough and the speed options. It is definitely not the quietest at higher speeds but it’s also not a big problem because let’s be honest it’s doubtful you’ll be mixing for really long periods of time. The suction pads keep the mixer in place for long periods of time but they are also easy to release when cleaning and storing the mixer. Highly recommended for the price and functionality.

I recently purchased this machine with the hope of simplifying my bread making routine. Overall, the machine does a fantastic job of kneading dough quickly and achieving that perfect, smooth, and consistent texture that can be tough to get by hand. However, there is one major issue that is the poorly designed lid mechanism. I constantly find myself having to stand next to the machine, holding the lid down or continuously repositioning it for the duration of the kneading cycle. This is both annoying and inconvenient.

Open it today, brought it December 2023, large size bowl, love the way it has the scraper on the attachment, love it for its compact and do not take up much space and all the attachments are in one place, so I will not be searching for this and that which can be very frustrating. I know I have mentioned the scraper on the side, I do not need to stop the machine push everything down from the sides, the mixer is a mazing still going through the instructions

Die Küchenmaschine ist angenehm im Gebrauch und sieht wundervoll aus. Auch der Organizer für die Einzelteile ist durchdacht und ist ein klares Kaufargument. Einziger Nachteil für kleine Haushalte ist die Größe der Rührschüssel. Sie ist für kleine Mengen ungeeignet. Gäbe es das Gerät mit kleinerem Ausmaß würde ich sie sofort kaufen.

My wife loves this Mixer. It takes the effort out of kneading bread dough by hand. It also makes great pastry and other whisking jobs in the kitchen using it's powerful motor. Be aware it comes with a UK plug so an adaptor is needed. My wife highly recommends this Morphy Richards Mixer to others.

Das Gerät ist gut verarbeitet und funktioniert wie beschrieben. Schade, dass die Uhr keine Timer-Funktion hat, mit der man das Ende des Mixens einstellen kann. Und da die Schüssel sehr groß ist, wäre ein seitlicher ergonomischer Griff wie bei den neueren Kitchen-Aid hilfreich, denn sie zu leeren heißt ja, dass man sie kippen muss, wofür man sie quasi umarmen muss, handlich ist das nicht. Leider ist also die Entwicklung des Geräts in diesen beiden Punkten nicht zu Ende gedacht. Das Montieren und Demontieren ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die Handhabung und das mögliche Reinigen in der Spülmaschine sind gut. Ich bin gespannt, ob sie dauerhaft über mehrere Jahre funktioniert, was zu erwarten wäre.
