One of the best gadgets I've ever owned!
This tablet is a beast, one of the best devices I've purchased in the last few years, and here's why: - Portability: this thing has a wonderful compact design, light, easy to carry along with your phone and wallet, no need to put it in a bag, just pick it and go. When travelling for vacation, I don't carry my laptop anymore, I just take this beast with me instead. - Laptop experience: once connected to the keyboard, you already have a small capable laptop. Keyboard is tiny, but surprisingly comfortable while typing. Mouse pad works well, you can also attach a wireless mouse if needed. You can attach an external monitor to the tablet to get a dual screen mode for multitasking, you will need to use DEX in this case. - Pen: the pen is pretty good, runs smoothly on the screen, delay is almost unnoticable. Quite useful when signing digital documents, no need to print and scan documents anymore! - Multi tasking: this is the best part for me. I can watch a youtube video in one tab, take notes in a second tab, facebook messanger open in a third tab, and google translate hovering in a fourth tab, all tabs look clean on the screen and navigation between them is so easy. You can even save all your open apps as one icon and get back to it later if needed. - Battery: baterry life is great. I use the tablet a lot throughout the day, watching youtube and TV, internet surfing, listening to music, etc..., it last easily for a day with some power left for the next day. If you're not a heavy user, battery can last for days. Sound and display: speakers are so loud and clear, much better than I expected. Display is great, colors look so sharp. Watching youtube, movies and TV series on it a great experience. You can wirelessly connect to a smart TV to get a larger display if needed. So many things to love about this device, highly recommended.

Amazing Premium Tablet!
Seriously one of my best Tech purchases ever. Don't get me wrong, Samsung makes great tablets both on the budget end and on their previous premium tablets BUT for me, this was the first time Samsung made a true Ipad Pro competitor. Pros- Included S-Pen works great with an extremely low latency. The screen, while not an OLED (A plus for me specifically as an artist), is absolutely gorgeous. Great colors, very bright and super sharp. The build quality all around is great, this FEELS and looks like a very premium device. The quad speaker set up allows for room filling but more importantly very high quality sound. Great for listening to music or watching content. The 120hz display is incredibly smooth. It not only makes normal usage feel better BUT if you are an artist like me, it creates a drawing experience you just can't have with 60hz One UI is an overall really good android skin with a lot of neat exclusive features. It pairs really well with my Galaxy S21 and watch. Not quite Apple ecosystem level but closer than you'll find almost anywhere else. The performance is top not with the Snapdragon 865 and 8gb of ram. Very snappy and I haven't had any issues running anything from apps, to games to even emulation on this tablet. Cons- My only issue with the S-Pen is that I don't really ever use the button on it and it's placed in a way where it can be easy to hit it accidentally. One UI is built on android which means it has some of the same issues when it comes to tablet funcionality. Luckily android has made strides with more and more apps better supporting tablets and One UI has actually started putting a slightly modified version on tablets to take advantage of their unique features. An example being an added taskbar at the bottom of the screen and tablet specific multitasking features. Kinda started to sound like more of a pro BUT the point about android on tablets is still an issue even if an ever shrinking one. All in all if you need a beast of a tablet with great performance, an amazing display, good sound, useful multitasking abilities and you want to stay in the android ecosystem then this is the tablet you need!

It's Worth The Cost
I'm so beyond glad that I took the plunge and bought this tablet. It's just the tablet and stylus (meaning I had to buy the keyboard seperately) but it's worth the cost by far. Gorgeous resolution, very fast, very customizable with or without the help of apps. I would say the stylus is either just as responsive as the apple pencil or very close to it. Whenever I draw I have no issues, jittering, etc. Though you may want to turn off the overlay for samsung notes if you're drawing, either that or get a drawing glove so you don't accidentally bump out of a program. For you artists out there, I've found that clip studio paint is the best drawing app so far on this thing, at least vs sketchbook and other free apps. The app works better by far on this tablet than on an ipad, though (until I know this program better), I prefer procreate. Just a note for anyone interested in this as an art device. That being said, samsung notes is wonderful to have an very easy to use. That was a big selling point for me and it continues to be very useful for note taking and digital journaling. As for anyone who wants to type on this tablet (and plans on getting the keyboard) it's perfect. The keys are quiet but not too soft, making nice gentle clicks. The material on both sides feels soft/smooth which is nice against your palm/wrists. I would recommend this tablet to anyone and everyone, just make sure you weigh your options cost wise. I wouldn't have been able to get this if it hadn't have been on sale, even then I had to put it on credit. To me though, this is an investment that's already been giving back to me 100% so I'm happy with it :)

Works great
Don't leave the pen on longer than it needs to be. I believe that has caused my screen to have dots directly behind it

I love this tablet!
After having my Amazon Fire 10 HD for around 4-5 years and it was being slow and the wifi would drop out several times a day i decided it was time for an upgrade. This Galaxy Tab S7 256GB was my choice after looking at reviews, features, apps etc. I love the screen it is perfect for me with the resolution. The Spen is a really cool gadget, it is highly responsive and I've had no problems using it when necessary. The battery life seems great, I use it periodically throughout the day to read and watch the occasional video. It's charged to 100% while I sleep. At 7am i start it up and use it until around 8-9 pm and it still usually has around 20-25% battery left. Website pages load quite quickly and videos run great on my S7. I love the 2 notes apps I've got with it, Samsung Notes and NoteShelf, these are great apps that come pre-downloaded with the tablet. I've had no problem downloading the video, Bank, Facebook and other apps I needed, the Play Store works perfectly well from my perspective. The quad speakers are great sounding and have a good loudness to them, I'm quite deaf so this is great for me. Movies and TV shows sound quite good and music does too. Ive also had no problem connecting my SkullCandy Crusher Evo headphones with Bluetooth, it works as well as it should. I chose the Spigen Tough Armor case for my S7 and it fits it perfectly, was easy to put together and seems to be quite formidable in protecting most of my tablet for any drops that may happen in the future. I can easily recommend this case. Screen: 10/10 Sound: 10/10 Spen: 8/10 App Selection: 10/10 (Play Store) Note Apps: 10/10 (Samsung Notes, NoteShelf) Camera: 9/10 Recommend S7: YES

Nice tablet but beware!
I was an early adopter of Android tablets many years ago. I found tablets to be not ready at all for mass-marketat the time. The exception to this were the Apple Ipads, but they were limited in functionality even though very slick. Since, I have been using android Phablet Style smartphones and have become quite used to them. They all have their quirks and differences and most do not shine. Since, I travel a decent amount, I found lugging a laptop or Chromebook around to be just that and not useful as power-hungry devices. While on a crowded airplanes flight, I watched John Wick 3 over-the-shoulder of another passenger via his S7. Even though there was no sound, I was delighted at the amazing resolution and media play of the movie. I resolved then and there did I would buy one after the price came down, cuz I was balking at the $700 price tag. My patience was rewarded and I got a pretty decent discount last fall. I really like the device, the pen, and the ability to draw and take notes. The sound is rich and full and does not need headphones to hear clearly like other devices who sound tinny and distorted. However, there are USB C Jack's to 3.5 mm headphone plugs readily available for not much money, or you can Bluetooth. There are other positives about this device such as it is lightweight and has a long battery life. And memory can be extended to 1 terabyte which I think is pretty impressive. Now to the little bit of the bad oh, I'm going to be brutally honest about it. I am here in the Google/ Android ecosystem and rely upon my account for password storage and this usually works seamlessly across Android devices and Chrome browser. Once I set up the device with my Google account usually it's no problem to access my passwords once I've installed the apps that need them. Not so in this case with Samsung. It wants you to join their ecosystem oh, and I see no reason duplicate everything which I find to be insecure and overly complicated. In this day and age it's a real nightmare because everyone demands passwords that are complicated and impossible to keep track of by yourself. I am not interested in installing third party key ring managers to try and mitigate this. The password autofill culpability in this device is very complicated to set up if you're not using a Samsung account even though my device which is logged into my Google account. Overall, I find the settings to be extremely fussy and difficult to use in general and not very intuitive in setting up and across some of the apps provided. I have spent hours and hours trying to establish better usability in this regard, and I feel that this is the main drawback to the Galaxy S7. I do not say that it ruins the experience, but I am less likely to buy another Samsung product particularly a phone because of this. In addition, the keyboard swipe works like crap in landscape mode, and the dictionary is atrocious. I might be able to fix the dictionary by finding a more compatible database. Of course I have to mention Google speech to text is almost unusable without clearly and loudly enunciating each syllable of every single word no matter how simple. Not something you want to do in public you will look like a crazy person! Google speech definition used to be pretty good now crap across all of their devices. Practically useless and on this S7 it is no difference. Hopefully this gets resolved Great look, performance, sound also. Disappointingly, still not ready for prime time due to aforementioned issues and others that have yet to reveal themselves. Admittedly, you'll probably have a much easier time with this tablet if you just acquiesce and join the Samsung ecosystem. Of course, that means they will win and you will be under their thumb and I can assure you and they can be as arbitrary and hamfisted as Google. Good luck buy on sale only.

Best tablet on the market currently, I believe
I upgraded to this tablet from my old, original Galaxy Tab S. In the photo, my old Galaxy Tab S is in the front, and the new Galaxy Tab S7 is in the back. I'm an iPhone person but for tablets I like Android. Take my review for what it's worth based on that perspective. The good: This tablet has probably 2-1/2 times the battery life of my old Tab S. The battery life is amazing. Love it. Can't wait for some post-COVID travel, where this thing will truly shine. And the Samsung DEX feature, which wasn't an option on my old tablet, is pretty cool. I see that as a potential game changer for business travelers, especially the Samsung phones with DEX, as it can enable folks to leave their computers and tablets at home, especially if they use a remote desktop application to reach their PC's for when they need greater processing power. That feature alone has me considering a switch to Samsung for my phone, after being with the Apple iPhone since 2008. The S pen is cool both from a business perspective (signing documents) and from a creative perspective (art apps). The on board storage is greater, as well as the capacity limits for the micro SD card. The bad: If, like me, you are expecting a massive improvement in the screen resolution or the way it plays videos or applications over an older device like the Tab S, well...it's not there. I see no change at all in the appearance of the screen (note that I do have the Tab S7, not the Tab S7+ which does have a better screen) and I also don't perceive any real difference in performance. Under the hood, I know that it's a better performing machine, but it's not something I perceive when using it for my normal uses. Maybe that's really something positive about the old Tab S as opposed to a negative on the Tab S7. One disappointment I do have is the optional keyboard. One, I detest kickstands. For the price, this thing should have an adjustable hinged connection, making it look more like a laptop. Two- boring aesthetics. No colors available. Again, this is a pricy keyboard, you'd think they'd put more thought into making it look good. As far as performance goes, the keyboard works great. I did a ton of research before I bought this tablet, primarily comparing it to the iPad and the Microsoft Surface. I absolutely believe this is the best tablet out on the market today (December 2020)- I've been using it since mid-October and have had no reason to regret my decision to purchase.

Why did I wait so long to get this!
I have had 3 generations of Kindle fire tablets and thought they were the bee's knees until I got this Samsung S7 tablet. The Fire tablet did everything but was super slow and I really didn't think I needed anything better because I did most of my work on my PC anyhow. Since I already had Samsung ear buds and a Samsung phone I decided to upgrade to their tablet and see what happened. Oh, I'm in heaven. Everything works so well together. My earbuds are connected to the phone or tablet as soon as I put them in my ear. No more fiddling to get a lost connection. It's, like, always connected. I can receive and send text messages from my tablet and if I'm lying on the sofa using the tablet and my cellphone rings I can answer my phone on the tablet. I can also make a phone calls from the tablet. Can't do that with my old Fire tablet. Next, talk about speed. This this is fast as lightening and the interface is fantastic. much closer to my PC than the Fire was. I knew I had to get a cover for this little baby and was all set to buy an off brand or something but begrudgingly bought the keyboard cover even though it was really expensive. Boy am I glad I did. The keyboard cover is awesome. The keyboard is super light and detaches in a second (magnetically) and the cover that's still on the tablet has the best stand you can get and has a compartment for the pen so it's not in your way, otherwise I kept knocking it off. Turns out I hardly use the pen but it's still a plus to have it. I picked up a small wireless mouse so when I travel I have a setup like a small laptop. This tablet, either alone or with the keyboard and mouse is well worth buying. Really worth every cent.

nessuna penna inclusa
