CloudValley Laptop Camera Cover Slide, Metal 0.023 Inch Ultra-Thin, 2 Pack

Its tiny like I had hoped and works perfectly on my phones rear facing camera. Very thin, no bulk, easy to slide, easy to apply to screen. I am very happy to have found this. I was tired and offended when certain apps kept taking a picture of me. It happens so quickly and you can spend a lot of time trying to deny and limit invasions of privacy just to have it undone with an update... so I just block it all😼

My work desk setup is a laptop hard drive and 2 external monitors. Being that my laptop is in a corner, and I mostly work on my external monitors, I purchased an external webcam for the monitors I use. However, I work from my bedroom. And while my external webcam came with a privacy cover, and while this techy gal actually DISABLED the laptop camera (so that the default is always the external webcam without selecting every time) I like to be super-duper cautious and wanted to stop freaking out every time I went to sleep that there were eyes on me. So I got this. And now I'm calm. I wasn't certain that it would be big enough for a laptop camera lens - if I would want to use the laptop camera down the line, I would need the slider to be able to be fully uncovered! But thank god, it's perfect, and my laptop closes. For the record, I have a Lenovo Ideapad. It fits nicely, it's thin, it looks sleek and unnoticeable, and fits right into the general appearance of the laptop without looking like an extension or add-on. PSA - the extra clear plastic is for big fingers to paste it on neatly with control. Put the plastic on TOP/front of the camera cover, position the camera cover on top of the camera you want to hide, and then peel off the plastic. Presto! It's a thoughtful detail.

I bought these little camera sliders because I wanted some peace of mind while working on my computer. They are incredibly thin, which is exactly what I needed so my laptop closes perfectly without leaving a gap. I really appreciate that they are made out of sturdy metal rather than cheap plastic. The tiny slider moves back and forth very smoothly whenever I need to hop on a video call. Having a second one in the package was a nice bonus so I could put it on my tablet as well. If you are looking for a simple and durable way to protect your privacy, I highly recommend picking these up.

The design of my Alienware has a raised edge to the top and the position of the camera is in such a way, that the cover HAS to be stuck on that. Below dips down to be flatter so I was concerned that this may cause it not stick properly but it did. So I'm thrilled. I was hella confused by the clear strip we were provided to peel off to stick. (Added a picture so you could see that.) With no directions provided, I just couldn't figure out what to do with it and eventually I gave up and just peeled off the back of the sticky tape on the camera cover itself and stuck that. It's a great buy for the price, it works well thus far and tiny enough to be inconspicuous. For a size reference, I've added a picture of the cover alongside the tag of a soda.

The slide mechanism is smooth and holds securely in place—no accidental sliding open. Fits well without interfering with closing my laptop, and after some time using it, there’s no issue with adhesion or looseness. But it is overpriced. For two small plastic slides, it just doesn’t feel worth what you’re paying—similar covers cost noticeably less elsewhere. Overall, does the job well. 4 stars.

These are perfect! Slim and discreet and look like they came with the laptop!

Needed these during covid for those stupid zoom calls but loved them! They stick very well. Don’t get in the way of the camera.

Love this CloudValley Laptop Camera Cover Slide! It's such a simple little accessory, but it gives me extra peace of mind knowing my camera is physically covered when I'm not using it. The best part is how slim and discreet it is. Sometimes I don't even notice it's there! It blends right in with my laptop and doesn't look out of place. Sliding it open or closed is quick and easy whenever I need to use the camera. It's one of those small, inexpensive upgrades that makes a big difference in how secure I feel using my laptop.

Sottile ed efficace, comodo da attaccare, consigliatissimo !!

👍

Absolutely brilliant little add-on... They fit so well they look like they were always there. Easy to attach & appear to stick well. The sliders need a small amount of pressure to move, but they work amazingly & we're exactly what I needed... & for such a great price too. Thank you whoever designed & made these, & thank you to the seller too for a prompt & great service. 👍🏼

Uitstekende keuze mits je het glas van mobiel goed ontvet met een alcohol doekje .

L'objet s'installe facilement. L'objet semble solide.
