Great torch, lights fast and flame needs to be put on low for heat shrink connectors. Flame turned down still is to large for connectors, but overall a nice torch. Lots of power, worth the price.

Perfect for field repairs on equipment electrical systems. Seems to keep lighting over time unlike many many others I've bought over the years and it's inexpensive comparatively. A friend suggested the brand from experience, he told me if it don't light the first time it always lights the second time! And that's completely true. The flame adjustment actually works very well too. Gets hot faster when soldering wires which helps keeps it clean and quick. Also on low flame it does well with heat shrink. It works forever it seems with a single fill up. I am very pleased with this item.

Runs about 20 minutes at the low heat setting. Not easy to fill with butane. Usually lights on second attempt. Otherwise a good torch. I would buy again. All of the butane torches have their own idiosyncrasies. None work perfectly all the time. This one as good as any I have tried.

This lighter worked OK at first, but still had difficulty lighting up on the first try. Annoying to have to keep trying to get it to light up multiple times in a row. Now, only a few months later the lighter seams to be leaking butane b/c it will be out of fuel only hours after I refill it. The handling and lighting action is a little awkward all around. This is not a premium product.

If you need to shrink shrink tubing or heat shrink butt connectors this is perfect. I also use it when I need to solder larger gauge wires. It easy to use it has a lot of adjustment in flame size. It’s really almost impossible to see the flame out side in the day light. You may not see it’s on so be careful not to burn yourself or other surroundings

I've had one of these torches for nearly 20 years. It finally died. I replaced it and within a week a get 1/4 of the flame i should get at full throttle. Hoping it will clear itself soon. I use it nearly everyday for shrink tubing and connectors. I'm dissapointed.

Mega recomendado! Eh comprado miles y ninguno me a durado tanto como este, todos se descomponían de la chispa o tenían fuga o algo siempre sucedía al mes de comprarlos pero este se mantiene en perfectas condiciones y lo uso demasiado, puede estar prendido bastante tiempo y no se caliente de donde lo agarras como otros que eh tenido. Tiene buena potencia, y está muy cómodo de sostener, como que empieza a querer no funcionar la chispa pero es entendible por lo mucho que lo utilizo de ahí en fuera es el mejor que eh tenido. Muy muy buena compra a un muy buen precio!

Easy to use

A little finicky to operate but good overall. Especially because it can accept a hot air adapter for heat-shrinking tubing which I had to order separately.
