Meta Quest 2 Elite Strap for Enhanced Support and Comfort in VR

I love the design of the strap, compared with the one that comes with the Quest 2. It worked great for a while. Unfortunately, after a bit over three months and treating it carefully, avoiding adding too much pressure on it broke. I was not even using it when it happened. I just grabbed the headset to use it (always from the middle band), and it broke in my hand. Was this a bad batch? A design flaw? A poor choice of material? Not enough testing in QA? A combination of all? Maybe it was bad luck; who knows. The idea behind the design is great, and I truly like it. I mean, if it wasn’t for that, it feels comfortable using. I never pushed it because I heard lots of stories like mine after I ordered. I’ve been using the fabric strap that came with the Oculus, and I have to say it is surprisingly good, and even if it looks more durable than the “elite” version, although it doesn't fit as well as the "elite". UPDATE: I contacted Oculus Support, and they offered either a refund or a replacement. As I bought it through Amazon, the refund must be handled by Amazon; but as I like the strap design, I requested a replacement. They emailed me a UPS tag to return the broken strap (so make sure to keep it if you one to go this route and its original box). A few days after, I received confirmation that a new elite strap was sent at no cost, so I want to express thanks to Oculus Support for taking care of this problem.

After using this strap, I will never be able to use the strap that comes with the stock Oculus Quest 2 again! So, so, so much more comfortable and it helps balance the weight of the whole unit on your head. If you're going to play your Oculus for more than a few minutes, you really should pick this up this strap upgrade. You won't regret it. My only complaint is that Facebook gave me that garbage strap with my Quest when I bought it in the first place. This upgraded strap should be what they ship with. Careful with it though. The plastic strap snapped because I mishandled it and now it is wrapped in duct tape. Looks trashy, but who's looking?

Compré esta correa Elite para Meta Quest 2 y ha cambiado por completo mi experiencia con el visor. La correa estándar era cómoda, pero a veces tenía que ajustarla durante largas sesiones en realidad virtual. Con esta correa Elite, la comodidad ha mejorado muchísimo! Lo primero que destaca es lo fácil que es ajustarla y cómo se fija de manera más segura a la cabeza. La correa es fácil de regular y se adapta bien, sin causar molestias incluso en sesiones prolongadas. Los materiales son de alta calidad, y todos los cierres y ajustes parecen sólidos y duraderos. Además, gracias a su diseño ergonómico, el peso se distribuye mejor en la cabeza y la cara, lo que reduce la fatiga. También noté que la estabilidad de los visores ha mejorado considerablemente, lo cual es crucial durante juegos más activos donde hay movimientos bruscos. Se rompió después de 2 meses con ella, uso totalmente normal del visor sin caídas ni nada por el estilo lunes 24 de marzo del 2021, me espere a que las volvieran a continuar, la compré, es muy cómoda práctica y todo pero tiré 1300 pesos a la basura
