Enjoy the vanilla flavor immensely, and it didn’t taste like vitamins as some other protein drinks do. However, I found it extremely sweet and think I’ll make a smoothie out of it from now on to cut the sweetness with some oat milk or plain yogurt, other than that really enjoyed the product.

This saved me during my recent out of state conference attendance. I recently was diagnosed with Alpha-Gal, a lifelong meat and dairy allergy given to me by a tiny little tick bite. I have changed my diet at home but was determined to travel out of state and brought this product (32 g protein) along with a variety pack of the OWYN 20 g protein. The vanilla shake filled me up enough to go through to lunch while sticking to an Alpha-Gal safe diet. Taste is not so bad, the 20 g flavors are much better. I now am bringing a bottle with me to community events often held at restaurants and while I miss meat and dairy, this product has made life just that much more manageable.

I ordered this because of the high protein content, 32 grams per bottle. I've had other OWYN drinks prior. The 1st bottle I opened had a sludge-like gathering over and inside the bottle's mouth. As directed, I shook it vigorously for 30 seconds, with no change. I scooped the thickened stuff out and proceeded to drink from the bottle. There was a bit of an odd, maybe sour, taste, so I could only tolerate half the bottle. After 30 minutes, my stomach began to feel queasy, and as another 15-20 minutes passed, I had a completely upset stomach. I waited 4 days before attempting to have another bottle. Again, when I opened it, there was thick sludge in the bottle neck. Shaking still didn't help break it up. There is also a sour smell to the rest of the contents. While I was looking forward to enjoying these drinks and supplementing my protein intake, I cannot drink these as they are and am requesting a refund.

I’ve only tried the vanilla flavor and it tastes good. It isn’t sickening sweet and doesn’t upset my stomach. I appreciate its lactose free. It’s fairly expensive but so is a meal nowadays.

Pleasantly surprised by these! Switched over from Premier Protein after repeatedly getting chunky shakes (ew) and these are absolutely my new go to. It is plant based so the protein blend has a slightly different taste than the whey ones but once you have 2 of them you're used to it. Mixes well into my morning coffee too, where sometimes other brands can kinda separate, never had that problem with this brand.

I love OWYN protein drinks, especially vanilla. But I was surprised that this was a plastic bottle. Also, a bit bigger than the cartons which are 11.1 ounces and the plastic bottle is 12 ounces. I try not to purchase plastic so I was disappointed with this version. I have paper carton containers from another store. Also, this was more expensive than the paper carton shakes. It tastes great, thus the four star rating. But not five star due to the plastic and price.

Overall excellent except for the never ending price increases.I find the vanilla is more palatable than the chocolate, the chocolate is just too danged chocolate.Within a couple of months of consuming following with exercise I noticed increased muscle mass.

High protein and ease of use is great but the taste is truly awful. I regret the purchase based on the taste alone. I guess if you’re used to artificial sweeteners, high amounts of stevia and/or monk fruit then you’ll be fine but I can’t do it.
