Are these boot heavy or lightweight? on the feet

I bought them for my daughter she has worn them quite a bit in college. She hasn’t said anything other than she likes them better than her tall ones, they were hard to walk in.

I’m a size 9 what is the correct size to get?

My daughter is a 7 1/2 I had to get her an 8. Just because there are n 1/2 sizes. I would order a 9

Are insoles removable?

Yes removable and not flimsy either. Nicely made all around. Love the fit. True to size

Are these boots heavy?

Heavy, no. Sturdy, yes. These are great for a rainy day of errand running and being out and about.
