Buy directly from seller! Do NOT buy from Amazon! Amazon sends dented cans w broken seals and refuses to replace them. Wasted money and aggravation will ensue if you dare.

I particularly like this brand, although it did go up I price recently. I hope price will come down soon.

Good quality and arrived timely

I was not satisfied with the Pillar Rock Red Salmon brand. It was not a top grade salmon, and was very salty. I will never purchas this brand again. As far as the delivery service used by Amazon to deliver the package. It wasn't United States Postal, UPS, or Fedex. It was some trucking company that I had read many negative reviews about on Amazon's web site. I contacted Amazon and was told this was the company they used to deliver my package. I asked why Amazon continued to use this company, if many Amazon customers filed so many complaints. I was told because it's the cheapest. After many calls to Amazon and letting them know if I encountered any of the problems that other Amazon customers had, I would contact the Attorney's Office, and The Better Business Bureau. My package arrived on time. I will not buy Pillar Rock products in the future, and I suggest that you find out how your package will be delivered before purchasing any item.

There is no other canned Salmon that beats this. I've used it for over 25 years and tried many competing brands/types. While "Chicken of the sea" isn't bad, widely available and cheaper than Pillar Rock, it has a lot of skin and more oil in the can making the weight of the product a bit less. Also, don't ever expect "Pink" salmon in a can to compare with either of these! Open a can of Pillar Rock Salmon, drink some of the juice like an expensive cocktail, then put the meat and remaining oil onto a sliced loaf of french bread with sliced onions and some cheese (brie or provelone), bake quickly in a HIGH HEAT toaster oven or broiler and then slather it with Italian salad dressing when serving. Don't over cook it- the canned salmon is already cooked and if you make the meat (fish) HOT, it won't taste as good. Enjoy!

This is a hard item to find in stores. Glad I found on Amazon. This is the best Red Sockeye salmon in a can out there. Great flavor & quality product. Very pleased.
