It's a good product, writkng review after using two bottles. It's slow effect serum and reduced spots and hyperpigmentation to some extent!! Worked pretty well on my dry skin, it's light weight and gentle as well, quickly absorbed by skin leaving no stickiness or oilyness!! Slow progress but definitely worked!!

Used for 3 months , no visible changes

I used Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% from July 2022 to March 2023 to treat sun damage–induced hyperpigmentation, and it really helped even out my skin tone without causing irritation. At the time, my skin barrier was damaged due to maskne and over-exfoliation (I tried shaving my skin when the maskne started—I had zero knowledge on skincare at that time), and this serum was gentle enough to support healing while gradually fading dark spots. The extreme hyperpigmentation around the cracks of my nose—where it once felt like my skin had been fried—has completely disappeared. I paired it with Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid exfoliating toner occasionally, used a thick moisturiser for my dry skin, and applied sunscreen regularly, which I learned the hard way is non-negotiable—not just for healing but for overall skin health. As a forgetful person, I’m not very consistent with skincare even now, so ignore the visible pores and a few marks—I’m genuinely happy with the results. I hope this review helps someone out there heal their skin too.

I have tried so many different serums—even some with the exact same ingredients as this one—but none of them gave me the results that this Minimalist serum has. It did take some time to see the change, but it has been incredibly effective at clearing up my red spots and evening out my skin tone.The value for money is great because a little goes a long way. I apply a few drops every night before bed and wash it off in the morning. It’s a very easy-to-use part of my routine now, and I’ve already repurchased it several times because I don't want to be without it. It has a neutral scent and doesn't irritate my skin at all, which was a huge relief after other brands failed. If you’re looking for a serum that actually delivers on its promises, I’d highly recommend this one!

very good, minimum use it for 3 months , 2 times a day

I really like this, & apply at night. I feel it’s helped the dreaded dark spots on my skin. Alittle goes a long way! I’m hugely skeptical of new products on my skin also. I had no new breakouts after using either. No sensitivity. And it felt lightweight. Weird, because I can honestly “feel” it working after applying! Love !
