Is it truly squirrel proof. We have *very* cunning squirrels!

I have this feeder, and it’s fantastic. Well worth every penny. But as for being Squirrel proof … Huh…. I don’t think anything is. They are ingenious little buggers. Placed in the middle of a large window, you’d think they wouldn’t be able to access it. But they do. They can jump huge distances, and will try anything if they are hungry enough. My local critter has a few failed attempts. But he still manages it somehow. Tbh the only way to keep Squirrels off your feeder, is to provide an easier food source for them somewhere else. ie buy a Squirrel feeder. But mine easily get thru 2 kilos of nuts a week. Don’t ya just love em 😂

Can you put water in this as it’s really hot at the moment looking for somewhere cat proof to put water

Is this suitable for a first floor flat? Will it results in birds defecating all over my downstairs neighbour's outisde space?

I bought one for my son who lives in a third floor flat, and his problem, is that he doesn’t get any birds. Our one in a low window in a house gets lots of birds. These are bluetits, great tits, Cole tits and robins. They don’t seem to attract bigger birds, such as pigeons.
