Belkin USB-C Multimedia Adapter (USB-C Hub with VGA, 4K HDMI, USB 3.0, Ethernet Ports) For MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Surface Pro, Chromebook and more

My Wife broke the screen on her phone and I got this to get into it from tv screen as the phone wasn't worth fixing. Worked well and got the job done.

I love Belkin products they are well made and high quality product. The reason why I gave only 4 star for this hub is the price... i think it's a bit overpriced. But other than they this makes my MacBook actually usable. I can do several thinks such like using a USB stick or connect an external HDMI displays. featured with VGA, HDMI, USB-A 3.0, and Gigabit Ethernet ports. Even with this price is much cheaper than buying all the adapters that Apple required to get all the same inputs. A slim good looking port multiplier that is sturdy and secure.

I was primarily interested in this dongle for the USB-C to HDMI and USB connectors for my MacBook. They work very well with no problems. The VGA and ethernet connectors are an added bonus and I thought they would be useful for future proofing connection options. USB-C to VGA is fairly rare but many workplaces still have VGA monitors so it's handy to have this on your dongle in case it's needed. A very useful dongle for MacBook users - recommended.

I needed something like this to use as an adapter for my 2 laptops, am using it with MacBook and also I have another Asus laptop, It works flawlessly. I have a great respect for Belkin products as I believe that they are quality products. This has not let me down so far and it doesn't get hot either when in use, which gives an added sense of security. Very good useful item.

Works with my Dell laptop, it lacks an Ethernet port and this fulfils that no problem VGA port is super useful for my old projector too!

A useful adapter. Allows various devices to connect via USB-C. Feels and looks well-made. Seems to work well. It is expensive compared to similar units.

This is a great all in one connection solution for my iPad Pro. It’s literally plug & play and works well without any issues. One thing to be aware of is that there’s no power pass through so you can’t use this and charge your iPad at the same time but to be fair this is made pretty clear on product page. My iPad has such a long battery life that this will never really be an issue for me. I’ve only used the network and HDMI ports on the adapter and they work well without any issues so far. 👍

For the price, I was disappointed that it doesn’t feel particularly well made, and just the 4 ports - USB, VGA, HDMI and Ethernet. However, these things can be really quite useful - helpful for connecting the laptop to the TV and the protector, and for connecting a wireless keyboard and/or mouse. Seemed to support using an extra screen too, but haven’t really experimented with that properly. Compact, so easy to take with you and tuck away in the laptop bag.

I've only tried the HDMI and USB ports on this adapter. The USB port is okay but the HDMI port seems to mess with the colour space of the video output as seen in the screenshots above. The first 2 screenshots are when I use the Belkin adapter, you can see that the video output is unable to show a distinction between X Y Z shades of white as well as between A and B shades of black. In comparison, I used another adapter from VCE and you can see from the last 2 screenshots that the video output from the VCE adapter can display the correct distinction. I have tried to calibrate my monitor and adjust all settings within the sRGB colour space, I tried using the exact same monitor settings for both adapters, same outcome. Both were tested using the same HDMI cable and from the same port on my M1 Macbook Pro and on the same monitor Asus VQ259QR. This seems like the adapter was poorly made, or at least is not suitable for Gaming, Movies, Content Creation, or anything where having an accurate video output in sRGB is essential. Will not recommend unless colour accuracy is not important to you and you don't mind video with poor contrast and smudged colours. Also, the adapter overheats very easily when using HDMI, although this isn't a huge deal when put on a table.

Je cherchais un adaptateur usb-C pourvu de différentes sortie vidéos pour diffuser sur différents vidéo projecteur ( un qui ne rentre que du VGA, l’autre qui ne peut accueillir que du HDMI) sans devoir trimballer plusieurs adaptateurs mais également brancher une clé usb de temps en temps. Ce qui m’a surtout décidé c’est que j’en avais marre de devoir débrancher/rebrancher mon précédent adaptateur plusieurs fois en cours de séance car il perdait le signal ( un peu moins cher et avec plus de connectiques, notamment 2usb3, un lecteur de carte de et un port de charge en plus). Avec celui-là, pas de perte de signal quand le portable passe en veille, je sors de veille et l’image revient, pas besoin de débrancher rebrancher l’adaptateur. Cela ne fait qu’une semaine que je l’utilise mais pour l’instant je crains moins pour mon matériel ( notamment le connecteur sur le portable) et l’image en VGA est de bien meilleure qualité. A voir dans le temps… Après, je pense qu’avec si peu de connectiques, il aurait pu coûter un peu moins cher mais s’il est de qualité ( et cela semble être le cas pour l’instant) peut-être vaut il mieux cela que de devoir changer son matos… mais des modèles avec différentes combinaisons de connectiques à tarif similaire auraient pu être proposées par belkin car perso je n’aurais sûrement jamais l’utilité du port rj45 mais j’aurais sûrement apprécié un port de charge comme sur celui d’Apple qui lui ne dispose pas de sortie VGA hélas.

Sirve muy bien en conjunto con una macbook air m3. Soporta la conexión de RJ45 con VGA o con HDMI; aunque con periodos de más de 1 hora de uso continuo comienza a calentarse. [Actualización: Después de unos meses de utilizarlo diario, es un excelente dispositivo. Lo he usado por más de dos horas con conexión de RJ45, HDMI a proyector, USB con una cámara web y sin ningún contratiempo].
