Great game! High replayability!! 👌
Excellent solo board game experience. Super approachable. Easily reset after playing one game. Even though I lost… playing the storybook campaign was actually fun and a good idea. I started off playing through the story and it gives you so much more flavor to the universe. I highly recommend playing with the storybook. You get to make little choices that affect the outcome of the mission in little ways from what shift you’re gonna use to what mothership you will fight. Like reading a little short novel that sets up your game. I quickly found out that I love throwing things into a bag and randomly pulling them out… who would’ve thought🤷🏻♂️? I might have to play another bag builder game like, Quacks.🤔 The artwork is great, I love these cartoon space themes, and I also like rogue like games. I bought the expansion and the playing mat to round out the experience. 👌

Out of This World - Time Looping masterpiece
Warp's Edge is an astonishing piece of game design that's left me breathtaking. I'm a big fan of Time Loop games and Warp's Edge delivered more than I thought possible. Its masterful use of time loops elevates the entire gaming experience to extraordinary levels. As a lone pilot fighting an entire alien fleet, the satisfaction derived from both the storyline and the game mechanics is remarkable. Comparing Warp's Edge to other time loop-themed games, such as T.I.M.E. stories, only highlights the exceptional quality and execution of this gem. The benefit both in mechanical improvement and knowledge gained by looping increase your knowledge of both the situation and the core narrative. based on looping in time made this game unique and immersive. If you're a fan of Time Loop games then the you've just found the perfect game for you.

Pretty fun for a bit
I enjoyed the first couple games of this but then I lost interest. The bag building is fun, and allocating the tokens was a fun puzzle for a bit. Once the excitement of the game wore off, the fun wore off for me as well. The puzzle just didn't stay interesting for me, even when ramping up the difficulty. It might stay fun longer for other people, but for me, it doesn't have the same replayability as Spirit Island and Harmonies, which are my favorite games to play solo.

Great, simple solo game
This is a great game for a simple sit-down and play game when you can't find anyone else to play with you. Pros: It's a fun! The theme is good. It's quick to setup and it's an interesting puzzle. The tactility of managing tokens is a step above cards. Cons: the game is not terribly replayable. After a few plays, it's easy to figure out the formula to win, but for the price, you can't expect too much more.

Great solo game!
The covid months have made it hard to get groups together. I am not a huge fan of solo games. I liked the so much, I ordered the Kickstarter all in version from another site. That added plastic tokens, a play mat and expansion (cards, two motherships and two ships). This version is fine, I just wanted to bling it out! Start out with the easy mothership and move your way up to tougher Motherships. The player ships are the same, different setups with shields and hulls. I have only played six times and won 3 lost 3. I inadvertent cheated on the first win!

The Game I Have Been Looking For!
I love playing board games, but as many of you know, finding other people who want to sit down and play a game can be difficult. On top of this, I am a father of a 4 year old and 2 year old. They take priority, so time is limited! I started looking around for a solo game, that required a moderate level of strategy without using up my now limited mental capacity, could be taken and set up within a couple minutes before I could decide to watch a show instead, and played a complete game in about 30 min. I knew if all of these were not true, the game probably would just sit on my shelf… And Warps Edge is the game I have been looking for! I have already played it 5 times which says a lot! And I look forward to play more! Each time has been extremely fun, full of strategic and timely decisions. I love the “deck-building” feel as you slowly get stronger… and nothing is more satisfying as destroying the mothership on the last warp on your last possible turn! Totally recommend to anyone with similar criteria as mine. If you DO get it, make sure to play through the “story book” first - do not just read the rules and play. This provides the context for why the mechanics and decisions of the game even matter. Great game!

Awesome
Imagine playing Galaga with cards and special abilities. This game is actually really fun and right in the middle ground of being challenging but achievable. The higher difficulties actually require a ton of skill to beat, and I was very impressed with how much fun it was to play.

It’s “okay”
I bought this because of the seemingly endless flood of rave reviews. I don’t see the love, honestly … I like bag-builders, and I love solo games, so this should have knocked my sock off. It didn’t… the way the mechanics are used to further the theme is so weird - you can “stun” an enemy, preventing it from attacking you this round by shooting it with a laser (… okay … fair enough), OR you can achieve the same result by maneuvering … what?!? So the enemy was sooooooooo flabbergasted that I could turn left that it just forgot to fire? I assume? Okay, okay, MAYBE the gribbly just MISSED, because my moves are so dope. I can go along with that. (Do the kids still say “dope”?) But hey, you can also defeat (read: DESTROY) an alien by fancy swooping … which, I’m sorry, is dumb. There is a lot of variety inside the box, so there is some replayability. But does that matter if you’re not enjoying the process?

Wish it had more content, but it's huge fun!
I love this game. Admittedly, I have a thing for bag builders, as this is my third one. I wish they included another 2 bosses... I would have actually preferred one less ship to use, one more boss to fight since, thematically, going against a new boss feels way more exciting. But, the ships add lots of variation and I can see this getting 20 hours of play in the next year, so it's worth it. Worth expanding for sure.
