It's a very strong clip, it exceeds my needs but I'm glad I bought it. I'm using it and I have no issues. Great product.

One of the five carabiners in the pack was a bit defective right out of the box. It would only open smoothly about 1/3 of the way, then it became very stiff and wouldn't snap closed - it needed to be pushed shut. It seemed like the sides of the hinge were crushed slightly during the manufacturing process. I was able to open up the joint and it works more smoothly now, but I probably won't trust this one to stay closed. Other than #5, these open and close smoothly, and are very sturdy and solid. I bought them for general utility use, primarily for clipping cargo to the outside of a hiking pack (lightweight things like a metal dog dish, Yaktrax crampons, snowshoes, etc.) and I think they'll do the job just fine. I see a lot of other buyers talking about "all but one", too, so that's too bad...seems to be "the norm" with these. Still though, I think this is a good deal considering how solid these are, and I'd still buy them again.

Use it on my total gym to quick swap handle attachments. Works aweome!

Purchased these for my home gym and they work perfectly. Very strong and so much easier to use than the smaller ones that were delivered with the weight machine. Very good value and would recommend to anyone searching for a quality carabiner
