It is slightly sweetened. I only used it for pies. It should work well for a savory pie. It is delicious.

Would coconut butter or olive oil work? I need a dairy free substitute.

I haven’t tried dairy substitutes with this mix. The Bobs Red Mill website has a wealth of info on their products. It might affect the elasticity of the pie dough even more Nanking it crumbly and un manageable but the only way to know is through trying! Good luck!
