So I didn’t think that it could get better than the vacuum pen I have, but it alerts my dog to the fact that I’m paying attention to something other than him and while I still think it’s a great pen, since I quickly went from knowing nothing about Diamond painting to becoming an enthusiast and actually understanding the function of the clay, etc I wanted to give it a try. I got it in purple and I love it. I feel like I prefer tools that are heavier in my hand for balance and accuracy and this fulfills that. Most of all, I love that rather than poking at wax, it comes from the inside of the pen. That part, admittedly takes a little practice to get used to because the very slightest push to move the top is all you need. Any more than very slight movement and you will end up extruding too much of the clay. It’s very easy to use once you are used to it. A little goes a long way and you’ll be surprised and how slight the movement is to get just enough. It doesn’t come in a variety of colors, it eliminates the step of having to push your tool into the clay, which is very convenient. I have no problem with the wax that it comes with, but to refill it, if you have a favorite brand, it shows you how to roll it up to use any clay that you prefer. The size is comparable to the vacuum pen as well as the weight. I find it comfortable to use and the barrel is as thick as a quality pen. For me, it’s a good fit. I love that the other end works as a tool to push your gems into line and make it look so much better. Very happy with this purchase although I do love my vacuum pen and I will no doubt use both. It’s great to have a portable compact portion to bring projects on the go and not require outlets. Well worth the cost.

I have tried numerous diamond art wax pens AND this Benote Refillable Wax Pen is by far the best one yet! It is made out of a sturdy metal and engineered to deliver the wax with a simple slight clockwise turn. It is easy on your hands and it is of good quality material and craftsmanship. It is also of excellent value to a diamond art painter like myself. It is well worth the money and I’ve learned that now they have a new diamond art pen that I’m excited to try. So, if you are tired of your old wax pens for your diamond art paintings, give this Benote refillable wax pen a try. I’m sure you will be hooked and sold on this product!

Love this device. Very easy to use and has an opening on the barrel so you can see exactly how much wax is available. The construct use of metal makes this unit durable as well as very efficient. Love it !!!!

Great tool! I loved the convenience of being able to just advance the wax to have new available. Very useful! However, after 10 months of regular use it just randomly broke while in the process of advancing the wax. Came apart in the center and would not go back together. Every time I attempted to advance the wax all it would do was separate the top and bottom pieces. I have order another, which I was unhappy about having to do. It is disappointing that it did not even last a year. Not designed for long term, regular use.

I love this pen. It’s weight is a little heavier than a ballpoint pen but not uncomfortable. I love that I don’t have to dip it into the clay. Just twist the bottom and the clay comes out the tip easily. Any clay can be used. I did watch the video about how to load the clay. It also has a sponge that slips over the body to make it more comfortable to hold. It was definitely worth the money.

Having done many diamond art projects, I felt I needed a better tool than the typical plastic straws that come with most kits. Upon delivery of the package, I jumped right away into switching to this tool. Let me tell you!! This. Tool. Rocks! The weight of the metal feels great, like an old fashion Mont Blanc writing pen. It balances easy in your hand and is actually much easier to hold and grip compared to the flimsy plastic versions. The grip slid on very easy as well to provide just the right amount of comfort when gripping. Another great feature is the rolled wax that is placed inside. No more digging the end of the tool into a wax pad. Plus it shows you how to roll up a wax pad into a roll and install! I have tried other tools before in addition to the plastic one. This is hands down the best quality for a diamond art tool!

I have been doing diamond painting for over 15 years and the most struggle I have had was with finding a wax and pen that would work for me. I found the wax, when it comes in sheets or pots, dries out and flakes. Because the wax is inside the pen the wax does not dry out. It remains soft and picks up the drills easily. If I have any extra wax, when I finish my session, I open the pen and put the extra wax back inside the pen and none of the wax is wasted. I cannot begin to tell you how much wax I have thrown out over the years because it dries out. This pen works like a mechanial pencil and I just love it.

If you haven't already bought this pen then what are you waiting for??! It's AMAZING! This will now be my go to pen for diamond art! Makes doing them so much easier and wayyyyyy faster! But this as you will not be disappointed!

Amazing pen! Easy to add the wax. You can even use the little squares, of wax, that come in the dp kits. Just roll them up and insert into the pen. Simple twist of the end and you have more wax. A little tip...if you find the wax keeps coming out, after you twist, back it off a smidge as it is under pressure inside. No regrets purchasing this pen. Worth every penny and the only pen I use!!!

10 days after the return window the pen has fallen apart and is now unusable

once i got the hang of using this i loved it..it jut needs a very light twist to advance the glue.. love the end piece which helped me to keep my rows straight as i progressed..
