How are these different than the vbm brushes?

The Cajon brushes are thicker than the monster brushes. They're made of the same wavy strands, but there are more strands in the cajon brush. I'd say the cajon brush is 3/4-inch in diameter while the Monster is 1/2-inch (not home atm, so estimating). I use both styles for my cajon, but mostly the cajon brush. The thickness gives you a great bass beat while the monster lets you play a little lighter. HTH
