Perfect Cup, Every Brew
This teapot is simple to use, well-made, and brews loose-leaf tea beautifully. The built-in infuser works great, cleanup is quick, and the 12 oz size is perfect for a fresh, flavorful cup. A wonderful addition to any tea lover’s collection!

Great little glas cup.
Great for a spot of tea. Big tea drinkers need bigger size. Overpriced. Good job on straing loose leaf tea.

Great tool for making a great cup of tea or a small pitcher of tea
I was concerned that my XXL hands wouldn't fit into the tall and narrow glass container, making it difficult to thoroughly wash. My hand barely fits inside but it's not difficult to clean the teapot. I also bought the 12 ounce version and it's very easy to clean. I was concerned that the strainer wouldn't be fine enough to catch the small tea dust and I'd have a cloudy cup of tea with silt in the bottom of the cup. I poured the tea into a clear glass and there was no debris. The brewed tea was dark and rich, but had a wonderful clarity with no sediment and apparently no suspended particles. I had used the first teaspoon of high quality tea (Yorkshire Gold) from a new package, so there probably wasn't much of the tea dust that's found in the lower grade "floor sweepings" brands of tea, but the filter apparently works very well. I was concerned that a filter that was effective would be slow, but it only took a few seconds to pour a cup of tea. It didn't take much longer than pouring tea from a teapot without a filter. I finally broke the 12 ounce French press tea cup that I use 2-3 times per day so I just bought a replacement. I prefer to drink directly from the 12 ounce cup, so I unscrewed the stainless lid from the French press and replaced the lid with a short stainless machine screw that I use as a tiny handle stalk. I microwave the water and tea in the borosilicate glass. When steeping is finished, I push the French press an inch into the cup to filter the tea leaves and I sip the tea directly from this tea cup. I wish someone made a 12 ounce French press tea mug that didn't need to be modified. Who wants to wash two cups? I also wish the glass was thicker so it would be less fragile. The replacement 12 ounce tea mug has the etched Rishi logo. I liked it better without a logo. The design and build quality are both excellent. This is a great tool for making a great cup of tea, or a small pitcher of tea.

Elegant tea pot
Best best best teapot I’ve ever used. It makes the best tasting tea with no particles getting past the filter. At first I didn’t know what to make of the short handled filter design since I’ve only seen the long ones but one look at the clear tea it made, one taste of the best tasting tea I’ve ever made, pure, delicate and nuanced and I was so glad I got this amazing teapot, Some reviews complain about the look of the lid but I think it’s really elegant looking. So glad I got this.

Loved it, miss it.
Bought it in Jan '23 and it lasted me until June '26. I noticed a crack by the bottom part of the handle today. It was great. I loved it. I'll miss it. I'd hate to have to spend thirty dollars for a second one, though I guess the previous still served at minimum 1500 brews the last 3.5 years.

Excellent tea pot for 2 cups
Excellent tea pot. 🌷perfect size for 2 plus cups and unlike so many others- no dripping as you pour.

I’ve been using this daily for my raspberry leaf tea
This has been very good for my raspberry leaf tea! I will brew it early in the morning and let it sit all day so it is strong. It is to help with pregnancy. If I used it within the recommended time it would stay hot, but of course I would prefer to drink it as an iced coffee. There is no plastic, which I very much appreciated, no issue with leakage, easy to pour, the lid sales great so I never have issues with the looseleaf tea getting into my drink. It is very durable very easy to wash and I highly recommend.

Expensive with Cheap Lid, Lid Fell apart within 2.5 months
So I had a similar, but good quality, pot from World Market that I loved, but I needed a second one and World Market quit selling theirs. I purchased the Rishi 20 oz and I am sorry I tried this one as expensive as it was. The glass pot is nice, but the lid is cheaply made. When I first got the pot I noticed the lid was so tight it barely went into the pot and it felt like it was scratching the glass. The screen piece in the lid also had rough spots with some sharp wire, unlike the more finished screen on my older pot. Now the lid has fallen apart. So after a little over 2 months I am going to have to replace it. I don't recommend this one.

Excelente

Love this teapot
Fabulous for making loose leaf tea. Much better than the tea egg or filtering spoons I have used in the past. Size is perfect for a large mug of tea. Love it. I actually bought two of them!
