Good product, but not all items included. Double check your order! Amended: Great Customer Support!
They shorted me one pot! Make sure you check your order! Other than that, looks very nice, lightweight, that is my initial impression. Will update after I contact company. Update! I contacted the BeGrit Company about my issue. They apologized, told me to keep the set I had and they would send me a COMPLETE replacement set, not just the missing pan! How considerate and conscientious is that! Now, about the pans themselves. I really like them for their intended purpose. I see some complaints about the size from some. But you have to read the description! These are CAMPING type pans. Small, yes, but good for intended purpose. I have already used them inside and outside on my small wood burning camp stove! I heated up some chili, had some Ramon noodles, had some tea and coffee in the cups. I burned my chili a little heating it up, but after a short soak it cleaned right up! Most everything nests together. There's always room for improvement though. Example, the cups if they could somehow be made to fit inside each other like folding/locking handles or something to be a little more compact, that would be nice. However, for the price and quality I have no complaints with this kit or BeGrit! Thanks! Update: 3/23/20 I have been using this kit many times on top of our fire pit. Cooks and cleans up well. So happy I discovered the set fits inside my MSR Alpine Stowaway 1.1L Pot! (This is the partial set that was missing the small pot.) The only thing that doesn't fit inside are the two cups. The whole kit fits easily inside the BeGrit bag. Thanks again BeGrit! Wonderful purchase!

Nice to have!
Works great for camping but, also when the power goes out, you have something to cook over a fire or use with a grill. Light weight to carry and compact.

Finally, a mess kit that's not child-sized (mostly)
After ordering five different mess kits, this one is larger than the others and I'm looking forward to using it. The plates are tiny (as described), barely big enough for a fried egg. The cups only hold 8 oz., so not big enough for a cup of tea. Those will be replaced in my "camping kitchen". I bought 4 collapsible (pet) bowls and those fit nicely into the kit. I like that everything is stainless steel, so clean-up will be easy enough, provided they are coated with liquid soap on the bottom and sides prior to using on the camp stove or campfire.

This set is very nice.
Very compact for the outdoors and I even tried it on an induction stove and guess what? It works!๐

Nice item, nice quality but its small
As you can see in the video I made a comparison with my iPhone XR so you can see the size even though it is small its quality is good because it is Stainless Steel I can say that it is a good product just take into account that its size does not help! But still I will give it five stars and I recommend buying this product taking into account its size. The backpackaging has a bag that is included. To prevent it from sticking, I recommend placing the food immediately after turning on the heat. This is an idea I can recommend.

So So, but usable
These are fine for a day outing or a few days, but I don't think I would use them for a long trip. Pros: Easily cleaned, the pots are good for one or two people to make simple meals, the carrier bag is sturdy and works well. Cons: The plates are saucer sized, the wire handles don't seem to stay in the position you want them while cooking. overall, these are useful, but a bit sloppy in the nesting. I leave the plates behind and eat out of the pot, or bring bigger plates. They would be much better if the handles locked in the grab position, as it is I always have to get them back open to lift the pot when they are hot.

A few solvable issues but otherwise outstanding
Pay close attention to the listed item size. It's smaller than you might expect, but that's exactly why it's perfect for what I needed. i bought it for backpacking after agonizing over titanium vs aluminum, vs ha aluminum, vs stainless steel. I ended up with this small stainless steel pot because I like doing a bit of actual cooking in the backcountry instead of just boiling water for prepackaged meals. I only use the bigger pot and lid of the 4 pc set. I like the wider opening compared to other backpacking pots. The pot is perfect for cooking a pack of ramen. The lid can be used as a pan and is great for frying up a fish if you cut it into smaller chunks. The lid forms a tight seal over the pot, which makes boiling water extremely fast. The stainless steel is the ideal amount of thickness so that it conducts well enough for real cooking without being too heavy in weight. When it arrived the handles were super loose. I had to pinch it with some pliers as suggested by another reviewer. The cinch sack it comes in is practically paper and not useful for camping. I replaced it with a mesh sack that I purchased separately. Other than that it's been great.

Small and thin metal but perfect for backpacking
These are very thin pans that heat up quickly. This is not like cookware you would use in your kitchen. You have to keep an eye on it while you're cooking and you can't just like go. This cookware heats up very quickly when applied to heat. It's light and small enough so that if I go hunting or hiking, I don't really notice it in my backpack. This works perfectly in conjunction with a titanium wood stove that I have in my pack as well. The whole kit Is about 4 to 6 in wide, so really only enough to cook food for yourself. When I used the skillet the first time it got quite blackened, but it was easily removed with some steel wool. Other reviewers mentioned that it burns in the middle but I think that's A skill issue. Cooking on a lower heat would probably solve that. I was able to get a nice sear on the steak which was nice. I also cook some onions right after in the same Skillet and they turned out great. For the money, I think there might be some nicer Cook sets on Amazon right now, but this was not bad. I like being able to scrub it with steel wool and get it nice and clean. Would not buy again but works great for what I needed to do!

Nice bit of kit
I can't actually say enough about this kitchenware set. For my expectations and purposes, it's very useful. The only things I would change is the material... I would have preferred titanium but I also should have stayed in school and got a job paying 6 digits a year. The SSteel is decent, tough and not too thin, though I suspect that you will have to dry it really well to avoid possible rust down the road. The handles are loosely fit, so that they flop around unless "locked" in the open position, or safely tucked into the bag. I solved this by using a needle nosed pliers to squeeze the metal "loops" on the pots and pan... voila, they stay where I put them. If you like quiet while hiking, this set all packed up in the bag (rugged and high quality mesh and black, like the soot which will be on the cookware) still rattles though, so maybe store your dry socks in there, but not your dish cloth or drying towel, as rust will take over your SSteel in due time. I have omitted the solid fuel burner dish (I use double layer tinfoil if burning solid fuel, so you can just crumple it up after and toss it into a sealed baggy or something, because even after they burn, the residue they leave can be hard to clean and smelly), the two plates (I have a lightweight, plastic portion plate I use) and have inserted my biofuel stove and a medium sized gas burner stove, solid fuel pellets for wet tinder days, my steel fire starter and homemade tinder kit. It's pretty tidy, fits nicely into the bag, and I still have a large and small pot, a good-sized pan (doubles as a cover for the pot if need be, for quick boiling water), the top for the small pot (to use as a small frying pan or a side plate for stuff like chicken cordon bleu or a t-bone steak). The plates are a bit small, but fine for use on the trail, but I like my food very hot, and the SSteel plates would be very hot to hold. The cups, unfortunately, don't have collapsible handles, so I won't use them, though they are light and big enough for a cup of tea or coffee. So all in all, even though I have modified my set, anyone with a desire to have everything you need for one or two ppl hiking in the back country, this little rig is a decent, affordable and compact set of cookware for exactly that. Good buy, I love it. Btw, if it seems like all the stuff in it would mean that it must be big, it isn't. It's just that pots and pans sets are usually hollow for a good portion when put altogether for storage. The set is small, reasonable light and tough and ultimately.. totally useful. As well as being storage for other kitchen stuff, if the right shape and size to fit in that "hollow" spot.

very inexpensive for the excellent quality
An excellent set of stainless steel cookwear. Arrived quickly and is sturdy, well built, and very inexpensive. Realistically this is a cooking set for one, two people max as the fry pan is not large nor are the pots. the cups are a nice addition although the two plates are very small. It was exactly as I had hoped itd be and Im giving it a 4/5 only because its not ultra light (though it isnt very heavy either) nor is it titanium. Still for the price you cant get a nicer set, (I compared it with sets at my local stores that range from 40 to 80$.) I would recommend this to anyone who backpacks or does backwoods camping/hunting.
