Each product in our Living Art Collection is truly one-of-a-kind, and every purchase brings a new surprise. Your "Tidal Pool" Bottle may contain green, red or brown/amber seaweed, or a combination of these species! Every order you receive will have a slightly different algae, even if they are from the same species. The seaweed species have been collected and cultivated locally by our scientists here in Seattle. The charming glass-bottle containers are locally sourced in the Pacific Northwest. Returns Cultured Algae has a 30-day return policy. Cultured Algae is a living product, for this reason, once 30 days have gone by since the original issue date of your purchase, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. All return shipping costs will be at the expense of the customer. To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in the same condition that you received it. My cultured algae is great! The product shipped quickly, arrived in perfect condition and what great packaging! I placed my "tidal pool" bottle on my coffee table along with a collection of other items and I just love it! I plan to purchase more in the future as gifts and to add to my own collection.

Looks great!
I was interested in getting this type of "natural art" and this product really fits the bill. It arrived neatly packed and no work necessary. The green algae looks awesome in our kitchen and sets of the green back splash. Thinking of buying another one for my kids' rooms. Really beautiful and easy.

Unique Concept and Design Element - Awesome product!
Cultured Algae is awesome! I love the concept and the design. The fact that these live in low light areas for so long without my having to 'care' for them is a huge bonus. I liked them so much I bought all 3 sizes and have this cool round one together with the large (sea shore) and medium (wave break) bottles for a great looking trio accent piece on my desk. I gifted a set of these to my sister for housewarming almost a year ago and hers are still alive and look great. Great gifts!

The green seaweed is already dying. I am very disappointed. The red algae looks the same. What can I do to get a healthy specimen?
