Works perfect and safe.
These dummy rounds are outstanding. Really good practice without comprimising safety. I admire the user that left a bad review at first because of the way he was handling the charging handle, figured it out and then left a good review. When I first had an AR-15 I did exactly the same thing: easing the charging handle instead of letting it rip. You will get a jam every time if you do that. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way: at the gun range with live rounds. If I would’ve had these I could’ve practiced at home and figured out what the (my) problem was and saved myself from the hassle and embarrassment. If I need any I will buy more.

Great training tool for loading and inducing a fail to fire issue when interspersed with regular ammo .. However if you set up a double feed or over the bolt type jam, the casings are very prone to get badly crushed.. as a result when creating some of the more complex malfunction scenarios, I think they will only last for 5 or 6 sessions each.. wish the casing was a little thicker or solid making them a bit less susceptible to crush with regular use.

Essential for safely testing and practice
Good value for the money. Safely test magazines for smooth feed, test rifle actions for feed and function. No chance of putting a hole in your shop wall or cause injury to yourself or others. Also useful for 'failure' drills -- Mix one in with live rounds, and then start shooting. When the 'dummy' is loaded into the chamber and you pull the trigger...Nothing! You perform an 'immediate action' drill to eject the bad round and load another. This is primarily for law enforement/military/self-defense shooters. I have a dozen 9mm that I sometimes mix with live rounds while loading Glock magazines, and practice the 'immediate action' drills on the range. The orange color makes them easy to spot on the ground -- Too expensive not to pick them up.

Perfect for Function Test
Loaded a mag, cycled them through. Perfect for load, extraction, ejection check. Brass similar to actual cartridges. Bright orange to avoid confusion with live rounds.

Great for basic and advanced instruction.
These have been great for training students on AR rifles. I used to just slip a piece of fired brass into a student's mag to induce a malfunction, but often the brass wouldn't feed, and the student knew there was an immediate issue, so to induce "failure to fire" drills, these have been great. When teaching more basic students in NRA type classes, they do great as a safety instructional aid, too. No one sees the orange and things "live round?". They cycle with the same reliability as a live round, and I've never had any issues with the training rounds, or the distributor. One photo compares them to a live round.

Good dummy rounds.
These worked great. I was using them to test out cambering rounds on my new build. Had one where it didn't eject fully causing another round to try to chamber when another was there. Thus making a scenario trying to clear the jam. Nice to practice this without live rounds. Though I don't think I need 10 dummy rounds so it was a bit more expensive for me.

They work great for testing feeding of your 5.56/.223 rifle, and they will be super gentle on the inside of your rifle, but I wouldn't dry fire with these unless you want to take the time to fill the primer pockets with hot glue. I think it was pretty dumb for the manufacturer to not extend the plastic all the way through the brass. Also, the tips of these are super soft, (they're plastic) so they will wear out faster.

Excellent quality, very well made completely inert dummy brass cartridges. I wanted it for dry fire practice in my new Tikka TX3 Tac A1 and also use it to show new comers about safety involved in shooting sport. I must say the dummy cartridges fits well in my tikka magazine and cycle them very smoothly. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who are looking for dummy round. Just one advice, make sure with the law of your country / state that it is completely legal to import inert dummy cartridges in your country of residence.
