I got this to brighten up a spot in my living room that needed cheering. The color is beautiful and brings in a lot of light. It is of good quality and clarity. The size is perfect and it works well for my purpose. I am so glad I purchased it. What a difference it makes in the ambiance of my favorite room.

One of my kids gave me a “Spinner”with a solar bulb between the two round spinners. I accidentally broke the bulb, so naturally went to Amazon. Measurements proved the exact fit, so I super glued it in the middle of the spinners. It was awesome and really shined and I never dreamed that it would light up at night, even though the glue got on the battery. It looks better than when it was new…And the price being so low didn’t match up with the fine qualities of this really beautiful item.So fun to take a chance and have something work! I’m real picky about what I get for the inside and the outside of our home, and this item fit the bill !!! Awesome!

I'm not surprised, as this is not advertised as a precision ball with a specified tolerance, but this ball measures a bit smaller than 2in. I measure it at 47.55mm. That's certainly fine for most applications. Very beautiful, nice weight, no bubbles. I did not measure, but it seems to be close to a perfect sphere. I had hoped to use it as a replacement trackball for the Logitech TrackMan FX M/N: T-RA17 P/N 804364-0000, which really needs a ball that is very close to 2 inches (50.8mm). Being 3mm short is unfortunately too much to make this work for my application. It does not track if left clear. However it does seem to track okay if some sharpie/paint marker pattern is added. Since it is glass it is easy to clean off. I'm not sure how well the sharpie will hold up to oil on the skin. I'll have to find a slightly bigger version of this.

Impulse purchase on a bored and boring Sunday afternoon. But I love it. Its exactly as described and as the posted measurements state. I love the little glass stand that it comes with. Price was reasonable as it is a clear one. I would like to get a blue one but the price goes up with color. Cool little decoration for my windowsill and would make a neat gift for those who have everything and/or you don't know what to buy them....Update - ordered a second ball, this time in blue. Somewhat disappointed with the blue one; although listed as being the same size as the clear ball the blue ball is a little bit smaller. Was expecting the blue to be the same as the clear so yah, a bit of a bummer....Gave in and purchased a third one in green, now my collection is complete. My niece loves them so she might get one for Christmas!

I got the purple and the colour is good, not too light. However, I noticed an air bubble in the crystal ball. There is no scratch and the ball is smooth. The stand is also good quality no scratches and fits the ball perfectly
