Replacement parts 6-Cup Glass Jar With Blade, Compatible with Oster Blenders

This was great. Chipped my original on stainless steel sink. Perfect fit power head motor base. Is larger than original. I can get more stuff in it. Easy cleaning, durable, like the expanded design that works well with existing base. Glass is durable, but carelessness can crack it. (I found out with the original) cleans well in the dishwasher.

Seems fine so far. No cracks or problems.

We have been looking to replace the original plastic jar on our vintage Oster blender for over one year. It appears like oem replacements are no longer available and one aftermarket jar we purchased from a different vendor through Amazon had to be returned because it sprayed the contents through the ill fitting lid. After reading reviews, decided to get the replacement glass jar from Joyparts and it came promptly with everything- glass jar, lid, measuring insert, blade, gasket, and base. It fits our unit perfectly and the wider design of the jar keeps the contents safely in the jar with a perfect vortex while blending. Highly satisfied.

This blender jar is quite a bit different from the original Oster Blender jar. For instance, it's much wider mouth makes it easy to add items and, after turning the unit off, & reaching in with a scraper and scraping down the sides. The blades are a different configuration also. There are more individual blades than the original jar had, and they're angled differently which helps pull food from the sides down into the center better giving you a better and fast mix. The glass is very thick, so I believe the jar will last a long time through many minor bumps in the sink or dishwasher. And the price was right around $20. I actually think getting a second replacement jar wouldn't be a bad idea. I like to mix up my protein shake at night and the blender jar in the fridge overnight. Then in the morning I give it a quick pulse and I'm out the door.

The product works great and fits my Oster blender perfectly. The glass jar is sturdy and the blades are sharp. However, I wish it had come better packaged or more protected, since it’s a glass item. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase
