Sun Brands Madras Curry Powder, 4 oz

I have been using this product exclusively for over 50 years. Its particular blend of spices has a distinctive flavor that I prefer to any other.

This curry is very easy to integrate into recipes that call for mild ingredients, yet it adds distinct flavors.

It is delicious. Just the right amount of warm flavors without heat.

I was very happy to find this brand online since my grocery stores do not carry it.

This is our favorite curry powder! It's very mild, not spicy/hot in the least, and it has a slight sweetness to it.

This is my favorite brand of curry powder. The taste and aroma are very pleasant with a mild heat. The bright color makes dishes attractive. I use it to add a touch of flavor to so many things besides curry! People often comment on the nice taste that they can’t identify lol. The tin is a good value. You get a lot and people who only occasionally use it will likely not be able to use the whole tin before it starts to lose flavor. I have been having trouble finding it in local stores. I took off a star because the plastic top wasn’t properly sealed to the tin. A small amount of powder leaked into the package. Usually I keep it in the tin because it’s best to store ground spices in a lightproof, airtight container. I felt it was better to move this batch into a glass jar to keep it fresh and free from anything getting into it. This is the first time I have had this issue with the tin. It is also the first time I ordered it from Amazon. I have sometimes found that brand name products sold on Amazon are “irregulars”. I won’t know for sure about this one until I need to order again.
