The liquid really gets down in there and helps a lot more. Not to mention this product feels like it has more numbing power. Even more than the name brand 4X orajel. I highly recommend. I have an exposed nerve ending in back of my mouth from a molar breaking off a huge chunk, and boy does it hurt. Unbearable pain. This combined with ibuprofen soft gels (even tho I'm allergic to ibuprofen) has been my saving grace. Be careful to not over use either. I know that is an impossible request when u have pain in a nerve ending. It's just not a tolerable pain, and I can deal with some pain. I could sooner deal with my finger being chopped off than deal with this. Brush your teeth and don't drink a lot of pop. Not worth it to end up with broken molars that are excruciatingly painful. Sorry went on a bit of a tangent. Get this product for mouth, tooth or gum pain. Works great. Does wear off pretty quickly, like all of them do. Obviously don't drink or eat anything when u use it to make it last as long as possible. Now if only I would take my own advice & stop drinking stuff lol.

I use the Anesthetic Oral Pain Relief to treat areas on my lip that I frequently bite. Not only does it relieve pain, it helps the tissue to flatten and prevents further bites

Best product I've ever used for oral pain. There's a watermelon/cherry flavored oral product also sold on Amazon that numbs very well, it's the only other one I would say is comparable.I came across this product on the Dollar General app, & it had a ton of 5 star ratings & reviews.The product is like, $4 in-store, but I could never find it in stock. The app would say a store had it, but when I went in, it wouldn't be shelved & there were boxes of unopened stock everywhere. I tried relentlessly for months, checking several stores to no avail.I finally came across it here & bought it that way.At the time, I ended up having one permanent tooth pulled & 2 root canals, but this was before I had them done, so I was in a lot of pain, even after taking antibiotics.The product did not disappoint. It works super quick, too, & is very easy to apply since it has a built in applicator.

The product is good but why is there no applicator brush attached to the top of the lid? Many similar products, including salicylic acid liquid do have a brush applicator so it makes no sense that this product is sold without one, knowing that the liquid has to be applied. Therefore, it is not a good product to travel with because you will have to depend on an additional applicator which can be messy and so unnecessary. The liquid is strong and does the job but I removed two stars because there is no applicator. When making a product, please make it friendly and keep your customers in mind!
