Works as expected. You will need to fab a mount, they just don't work well in a vise.

After following the mounting and setup instructions, neither the shrinker nor stretcher would work: The handle simply could not be depressed to actuate either unit. Despite the illustrations in the instructions, I had to reverse the "fulcrum arm" so that the handle retaining screw is pointing up instead of down. That also required the "lever stop bolt" to be removed and reinstalled from the (bottom) side now opposite the handle retaining screw. Once those steps were accomplished, the units worked as expected, and should be a real useful tool. It's important to follow the initial setup, especially cleaning and lubricating the shrinker and stretcher jaws. As received, these parts were dry of any lubrication. I used light machine oil, not a spray. These units are fairly large, and I did not even attempt to mount them in a vise. Workbench mounting is not hard using 3/8-16 bolts and following the mounting instructions. The instructions are clear with the exception of the "Parts Breakdown & List" on the last page: The parts call-outs in the diagram do not match the reference numbers in the parts list.

I was trying to use this product for it's only designed purpose shrinking and stretching, It failed to do either and I was hoping the product would work as designed. Product looked nice but does not work for shrinking or stretching whatsoever. High disappointment was had with this product as it was very much needed for my sheet metal project this weekend. I'm very upset that I drilled mounting holes into a nice welding table to mount them.

素人の私が無謀にも旧車の板金に挑戦中。１ｍｍの鉄板をシュレンカーーで成形したところ、上手くできました。 力もほとんど要らず、弱い力で何回か押すと鉄板が曲がって行きました。 コツとしては、一気に曲げずにちょっとづつ現車に合わせ確認しながら行う事かと思います。 ストレッチャーは端材（１ｍｍ鉄板）で試したて見ましたが、力を入れすぎたためか鉄板が裂けてしまいました。 こちらも弱い力でやるべきかと思います。 シュレンカーは大昔に買った手動タイヤチェンジャを改造し固定しました。 シュレンカーで縮めた部分はギザギザになるんですね。知らなかったです。
