I like that this kit includes a knife with replacement blades, and two different devices for smoothing out the paper as it is applied. Better than just putting on by hand, and so inexpensive.

I purchased to apply wallpaper ( peel and stick) as a kitchen backsplash. The smoothing tools worked fine. The little tape measure (I prefer a metal one) is light weight and fits in my purse. I do a lot of DIY projects and a tape measure when you are out shopping is handy. The only issue is the razor knife. It cuts fine on the first few cuts, but quickly gums up. The razor also falls out easily. The set comes with several extra blades, but since the razor kept falling out I used a sharp pair of scissors and switched to my X-acto knife. Even with the issues, the kit was worth the money I paid.

Very convenient kit - a staple for any projects

I'm so glad I had the red tool to smooth out air bubbles while applying self advesive wallpaper. However, the cutting tool is very cheaply made and fell apart several times while using. The blades are flimsy and bend under pressure which makes it difficult to cut a straight edge.
