KEEN Targhee III Waterproof Women's Walking Boots

UPDATED x 2 I just bought my 3rd pair. 100% waterproof. I walk 30-40 miles per week and these have never let me down. I love them so much that I also bought the summer shoe version. No breaking in. I was straight out walking in them. Absolutely incredible. I have been. Wearing these boots for a year now. As mentioned in my review below, another brand of boot left me minus three toenails. I was able to walk in my Keen boots despite my toenails and I did not experience any further issues. I was in my local hiking shop recently and I discussed how brilliant Keen boots are for my feet. The sales person said that this model is well respected and is padded and great for people who wear orthotics. I love them they are SO much more comfortable for short walks than trainers. I will buy these again. I am new to hiking. I walk about 30 miles per week for fun and fitness and normally use trainers. However a recent commitment to a hiking retreat meant that I needed more robust footwear. Unfortunately for me I didn't do my proper due dilligence and opted for my normal size in a pair of Columbia boots bought at my local hiking store. I noted that the toe box was very VERY tight but was assured that it would losen out and mould with my feet. It did not. I ended up with black toenails that are just now ready to fall off. I was keen not to repeat this when hiking again, and researched options for wider feet. I am a size 10, small person with slightly wider feet and my toes like some space. Keen hiking boots are perfect for me. They allow my toes to splay out comfortably. They are heavy enough on the foot and overall feel like a pretty big fit. I take a size 5 UK. I wear 5.5 in trainers and I ordered 5.5 in these - they were HUGE. I returned them as they had been previously used and I will re-order in the size 5. I also liked the look of the more urban shoe but was hesitant about ordering it as it had fewer reviews.

These boots are nice and wide at the toe box. So if like me you have bunions or need orthotics, they are ideal. I usually take a size 5.5 and even with thick socks the 5.5 were plenty big enough. I've hiked through thick mud and wet grass and so far they've been waterproof. The ankle cuffs are quite stiff and took a bit of breaking in, but otherwise these boots have been very comfy and seem pretty good value for money compared to other brands. Sole seems adequate on stoney paths and offers decent grip Just hope they last as long as my old Berghaus boots...7yrs and hundreds and hundreds of miles!

This is my 4th pair of Keen walking boots. They are comfortable from the 1st wear and no breaking in required. They are a wide fit with a good sized toe box. They are not the best for 100% waterproofness but I continue to buy for comfort. I do clean them with a reputable boot cleaner and reproofing product on a regular basis. However, my latest pair are Not waterproof at all. I have just done an hours pavement walk in the rain and my feet were absolutely soaking wet after about 40mins. I literally wrang my soaks out and poured the water out of the boots when I got home. I am returning . Do I buy another pair ? Undecided !

I’m so disappointed with these boots. They are so comfortable with a lovely wide toe-box but after 10 months, they cracked and let water in. This is the 3rd pair, 1st pair lasted 2 years, 2nd pair 7 months and now these have failed after 10 months. I emailed their Customer Service Dept and they couldn’t have been less helpful if they tried. I won’t bother buying Keen boots again.

Absolutely love these. I wear them on all my hikes and they're super comfortable. They look great, quite easy to clean, and they're waterproof. Walked down some pretty steep hills and they did a great job, traction-wise. Highly recommend!

I haven't worn these boots yet but I'm not sure about the quality and how long they will last. There is not very much padding around the ankle and only one set of metal lace eyelets. They are no where near the quality of Karrimor boots which I have purchased for years - they only normally last me a year but are really comfortable - but are now to narrow for me. The only reason I have kept these Keen Boots is that having tried so many other walking boots these are the only ones with a Toe Box wide enough for my bunion. Time will tell in terms of how long they last. Please be aware that I have seen these Boots selling at between £97.74 - £49.99.

Loved the boot on my right foot but back of left heel has lining ricked . I returned these and had replacement pair but they were wxactly the same . So decided to get money back Agood boot for someone needoing wide toe space

Absolutely love these boots. Very comfortable from the first walk. Would definitely buy again.

I love my Keens. I have purchased several different brands of boots since last buying my Keen hiking boots but i would always go back to wearing my older pair of Keens. Finally, the bottom tread was falling off so it was time for a new boot. This time I decided to stick with Keen. I have a wide foot and although my last pair were a 7.5 wide, they felt a little narrow to start off with. When ordering, these boots scared me a little, especially reading reviews, but I find them true to size, and although the Targhee III do not come in wide, they work. I tried a wider pair of Keens, too, but found that they felt heavy and a little too loose for my taste. I like to feel the stability and strength of the boot around my ankles and foot. I began hiking in them immediately and have not had any issues. I typically replace boot inserts with a Super Feet support but find that the Keen insole feels perfect, even with my high arch. This style is waterproof, so it wears a little hotter than my last pair, but I have adjusted the weight of my sock to fit the weather. Very pleased.

Ürün elinize aldığınızda, ayağınıza giydiğinizde herşeyiyle çok kaliteli gözüküyor, tabanı da çok iyi, çok rahat ama kalıp olarak geniş geldi. Outdoor ayakkabıda 40 giyerim normalde ama bu markada 40 biraz büyük geldi bana. 39,5 numaranın daha iyi olacağını düşünüyorum ayağıma. Doğru numarayı alırsanız kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
