Albion Engineering B12B30 B-Line Manual Bulk Caulking Gun, 30 oz, 12:1 Drive

Purchased this glue gun for a soundproofing room we were working on. It was simple to use, clean and store. Made my life easier. So glad there is a tool for the bucket green glue, instead of using tubes which are more expensive.

Very good for helping to seal windows and any opening

Nice easy squeeze action. Sturdy metal design. If you buy Green Glue Noise proofing compound in a 5 gallon bucket, this is the tool you need! And whatever you do, don't buy one of the plastic knockoff versions that will leave you stranded in the middle of a job.

Used both power bulk gun and this manual bulk gun. This manual gun used less material because it was easier to control flow and made less mess.

We bought two guns to use with the Green Glue Compound that Amazon recommended. If you are trying to save money, you won't by buying this one. It takes a lot of time to clean, and now it doesn't work properly, so we have to buy a cleaning kit. If you're thinking of buying this gun for installing Green Glue Compound, buy the tubes instead!

This is a good gun. We are using this one and a 20 oz to chink a log building using Log Jam. Both guns work well. We have one significant complaint: if you need to buy any parts (a) you will probably need to go to albionengineering and (b) be prepared to pay A LOT for shipping -- commonly lots more than whatever part you needed. If you can find the part you need on amazon, go for it (e.g. piston seals). Otherwise, be prepared to pay some sobering shipping charges to Albion Engineering. An instruction manual would also be a nice addition.

Made work easy chinking walls

I didn't expect much when purchasing this gun. I was impressed by how it all fit together very nicely. It was much easier than expected to draw up the material, but I was still concerned about cleaning it after use because I was using for a very sticky caulk-type material. It disassembled so nicely that it was very simple and easy to clean. Very well made!

This works great. I was renting a pneumatic gun but I really didn't need it this one pumps with ease. no moe air compressors an noise. Should have tried it before the rental.
