Great direct box for the best price I've seen. Works well... the sound guy at church said it not only gave a stronger signal than my setup had been providing, but it also fixed an annoying hum that he couldn't isolate before (using the church's direct boxes). The only recommendation: with the ground lift button (it's a button, not a switch), maybe either add the word "lift" or switch your on/off indications. Since it's a lift, technically (as printed in the instructions), when it's engaged ("On"), the GROUND is disengaged or off (lifted). Right now, when you look at it, it reads that the GROUND is ON or OFF. For those who work with tech all the time, they probably understand the difference, but others might not. Regardless, once you figure out the right position, it works great.

For it being $15 or around that price I'd say it's way worth the money. I was looking and saw that a ground plug was around 60 bucks and wasn't going to buy that right away and saw this and bought it instead. It's pretty easy to use especially with the diagram on it. I wasn't sure if it was going to play through the amp or not but it does and I haven't tested it on a saw yet so I can't say anything about that. For the ideas it wants talked about. Doesn't need a battery, the quality is good.

PROS: - Built like a tank - Transforms the impedance - Incredibly cheap CONS: - For some reason the print messed up on the attenuation switch. Just flip it until you find what you need - Build quality is what it is I've got 4 of these on hand along with a handful of XLR to 1/4" adapters as well. With that being said, be aware that this is the primary function of this "DI" box; to transform the connection. Sorry for the air quotes, but I run into folks insisting that they must have a "DI" box when they play at our place. 90% of the time they simply need an impedance transformer for their send to the XLR input snake. The other 10% typically needs something I don't regularly provide, like a pre-amp beyond phantom power. Yes, it has handy 2 level attenuation option and ground lift which have their place. Other than that, it does what it does and does it well. The print on the box is rather inconsistent as if the screen kept shifting as it was being applied. The ground lift push/pull switches are mounted perfectly and others crooked, but they still work. Solid build that looks like my first electronic project kit build from Radio Shack when I was a kid, but the dang thing works, Takes a beating and keeps on going. Completely worth the affordable price point.

Fantastic Little DI box for the price. It does the job and does it reliably. As it is passive, it won't boost a low signal, but for electric guitars and active acoustic guitars, this thing is a wonderful addition to the gig bag. The price is set so you can buy 2-3 of these for the price of a stronger brand name. In the end they do the same thing and the quality of this is comparable. If you need signal boost, go with an active DI, but otherwise, the Pyle Pro DI is a bargain for musicians on a budget needing reliable gear.

No hum coming through on my tracks and the sound quality is amazing. Highly recommended for the budding musician looking to start their recording journey! Super easy to use, connectivity is straight forward and I think it does have some sort of warranty. Nothing special about the look of the product, just a solid DI box design. It’s built like a brick, seems durable. I’d get another if needed!

Very well made with attenuation transformer and clear functional diagram on the case, seems to work well though I have not tested it extensively yet.

Perfect bright sound for my acoustic guitar

La diferencia es de noche a día. Yo la utilizo para conectar mis guitarras y bajos a mi interface de audio (scarlet) y el resultado es muy bueno, corta todo ese ruido que había antes y obtienes una señal limpia.
