Should have bought these years ago
I always found the last step in winemaking to be the most frustrating and difficult. I'm referring to starting the siphon and moving the siphon tube from a filled bottle to the next empty one. You always end up spilling your precious wine and making a mess of the kitchen. Then when the bottles are filled you have to fiddle around adjusting the levels in the neck of the bottles. If you leave too little air space in the neck of the bottle the air will be so compressed by the insertion of the cork that it will force the cork partially out of the bottle. The auto siphon is a 2 piece pump which starts a strong flow in the tube with one pump, the plastic clip held the device firmly in place on both my fermenting bucket and my carboy making this a no- hands operation. The Profiller works wonderfully. You put it on the bottom of the empty bottle and the valve on the bottom opens to start filling the bottle. When the wine reaches the top of the bottle you lift the Profiller up off the bottom of the bottle and the flow stops instantly. When you pull the Profiller out to put it into the next empty bottle the flow remains shut off. The only wastage is one or two drops which fall off the outside of the Profiller. The Profiller is very ingeniously designed to displace just enough wine to leave your fill level in the bottle at the perfect spot. I fills slightly up into the neck but not far enough to interfere with the placement of the cork. I bottled my 2020 wine today quickly, easily and without the frustration of spilled wine. I should have bought these devices years ago.

Worked great the first time, but...
Update: within 24 hours support had reached back and will be shipping a replacement. Adjusted rating accordingly! Very happy! Absolutely loved using these the first time. Ended up with 4 gallons of mead and 1 gallon of cider that needed re-racking and this made the job crazy easy! However, during my second time using the bottle filler (to actually move the same drinks), it seemed to be stuck and so it didn't slow/stop any flow. Try cleaning it again - and notice something odd sitting in there. A little ring, its sideways. Ring proceeds to fall out. Filler returns to its unstuck state - but now it leaks. Ring was a sealing ring of some sort. I suspect a defective part/item Waiting to hear back from customer support and will update review accordingly.

Definately easier with than without
This is a great tool to have if you are a home-brewer of smaller size batches. It really saves time to transfer your batches over to another jug or for bottling. The materials are a little "brittle" I think, I have cracked a couple during cleaning, so be careful when assembling/disassembling the hose and such. The plastic will crack or break fairly easy if you bend it just to much when trying to pry on/off the hose-line. Fairly smooth transfer for a 6 gallon batch, if you need a faster transfer just get the bigger size, 3/8 is in my opinion good enough. Other than that, decent price for the kit, I have had other brands of this sort that cost about the same just for the siphon alone, so not too bad. Either way a must have if you are a home-brewer.

Worth the money
Works great. I've used it several times without any issues. The only complaint I have is that it did not come with the clamp to help hold it to the carboy or fermenter.

Works like a charm
I originally bought this product to transfer my homemade mulberry wine. I should have strained the batch first because the siphon got horribly clogged. Fortunately it was a breeze to clean out and worked fantastic after some more prep on my end. I also used it to transfer my hummingbird nectar from pot to containers. I can see many more uses for it around the kitchen. My husband was so impressed with how well it worked that he has threatened to use it for draining his car fluids ๐คฃ. I would definitely recommend this product.
