From the very first few pages, I noticed a shift in her mindset. It didn’t just teach her about having a growth mindset, it showed her how to apply it in her everyday life. This workbook helped elevate her mindset and gave her the tools to approach challenges with confidence rather than fear or frustration. She’s not only more confident in herself, but she also has a deeper understanding of what fuels her drive to strive for better and reach her goals. It has encouraged her to push through struggles, celebrate progress, and keep aiming higher. As a parent, it’s been incredible to watch her grow, not just academically, but in her attitude toward herself and her future. This workbook is well structured, engaging, and meaningful, making it a fantastic tool for any child who needs that extra boost of confidence and resilience. I highly recommend it to parents, teachers, or anyone looking to help their child develop a strong, positive mindset. This has been one of the most valuable resources we’ve added to our homeschooling journey. Review: A Meaningful and Engaging Tool for Teaching Growth Mindset - I purchased this book to use during my social work sessions with students, and it has been an excellent addition to my lessons on growth mindset. The message is clear, age-appropriate, and presented in a way that truly resonates with students. It does a wonderful job of helping them understand that challenges, mistakes, and effort are all part of learning and growing. What I appreciate most is how engaging and relatable the book is. The language and examples make it easy for students to connect the concepts to their own experiences at school and in social situations. It naturally opens the door for meaningful discussions about perseverance, self-confidence, and positive self-talk, which are key skills we work on in social work sessions. The illustrations and storytelling help keep students focused and interested, and I’ve found that it works well for both individual and small group sessions. Students are able to reflect, share, and apply the ideas to real-life situations, which makes the learning feel practical rather than abstract.

Do not do the exercise in the steps it gives. Read it all first!
My 11yr old has been excelling since we started this workbook. My only advice about it is read the entire excercise it has you do before starting it. Do NOT do it in the steps it gives. Read everything before attempting! My daughter started the “draw in the dark” excercise without fully reading it and, I found her in the bathroom crying because, she’s still scared of the dark but, had she read further down after the draw box, it said with your eyes closed. We overcame her fear together and, turned it into a good experience. We recreated it. I went into the bathroom with her and, we talked and giggle while we drew then came out shared our pictures and laughed. She even wanted to do it again after, so we did it again drawing quietly the second time, then came out compared and laughed, because now she’s excited to look at how funny our drawings are in the dark, rather than the dark being scary. I’m happy we were able to do this together. It’s growth.💗💕

Excellent Resource for School Counselors and Teachers, Well Designed, Fun
Excellent book that arrived in fantastic condition. The content and activities are perfect for the elementary students I work with and I can modify the lessons for my younger K5-2 graders. The lessons are easy to follow, engaging, thoughtful, and fun. As a School Counselor, I will be using this book throughout the year to teach academic mindset and professional and personal development skills. Great resource!!

My Son Loves it!!!
My Son loves it! He turned 8 recently and I gave it as a birthday gift. He jumped straight into reading and doing the activities. I love that it gives them scenarios and ask them what they would do. At the end of each activity they see the difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. The activities are fun too. Example drawing in the dark activity. If you have a child who is hyperactive this is a great book for them. I didn’t like that some of the answers were on or across from an activity though but overall it was a great buy!

Good book so far
You have to sit and do this with the child. It’s not something you can give them to do it alone .
