Math Workbook Grade 2: 100 Pages of Addition, Subtraction, and Beginning Multiplication, Division, Fraction

I bought this for my child going into 3rd grade to review 2nd grade math throughout the summer to prevent summer learning loss. Last year we used the summer bridge book, which I loved at the time, but this is so much better. Our school begins 3rd grade with place value and 3 digit addition and subtraction, before going into multiplication and division- just like in this book. I love that this includes the most important skills- no fluff; lots of very straightforward practice to improve fluency. This book also includes a blank chart to keep track of progress- my kid earns a sticker for each front/back page that we add to the chart- 20 stickers equals a fun day trip, which is super motivating.

Great for summer catch-up to keep kids on track

Was a great way to practice math for my 8 yr old

It’s a good practice book for addition,subtraction,multiplication but needs more pages onmoney,time,measurement,area and perimeter.

Purchased this at the beginning of the school year and this workbook has been great to continue practicing what my 2nd grader is learning at school. It has every specific topic they are going over with many problems to promote repetition. I hope that we can complete the entire book before 3rd grade.Note: it's straight to the point math. No pictures or color. Just math problems.

My 8 y/o loves getting workbooks. She does them while waiting in the school drop off line, and while out to eat. Her teacher has commented on being advanced (2nd grade) in math.

My oldest son is an incredibly quick learner, but he takes it for granted and gets lazy.... this workbook is easy for him to be motivated enough to do on his own initiative.Amazing: No distracting pictures! Just the meat!I see grade 1...... are there more for all grades? I have younger kids who can benefit from this straightforward way.

This book is pretty good, helped my kid improve their math skills

My daughter absolutely loves this math book. Perfectly made for children to learn math with easy concepts and short worksheets. Not too complicated and she’s learning a lot faster. She does 3-5 pages in a day and is doing a lot of independent work with this book. She is 5 years old doing this book.

My 6 year old has gotten about halfway through the book. It's a good level, but I see at this point it goes into 6-9 multiplication table which is a bit tough. We'll skip these pages for now.There is a 10x10 area for your child to colour in one square every time they finish a page - I looked up a 10x10 pixel image and numbered each square and designated a pencil crayon to each number. This way he is really excited to reveal his secret picture!

It is good workbook for grade 2 kids.
