Teva Men's Holliway Sandal

I wear a size 14 in New Balance/Saucony and a 13 in TEVA's and these fit that profile. I ordered 5 different models of teva's to try and these were the most comfortable and easiest to put on/off by far. JUST AWESOME. I'd recommend these to anyone. Fit's like a glove. Like others have said the buckle would make more sense if it was on the inside of the ankle but oh well. Unlike my ordinary teva's that have to be left loose and it's still a struggle to get the back heel strap on these can be adjusted perfectly and then secured with the buckle. Oh yea, I thought since they were a leather-ish material they would get funky or damp with water -- my normal universal teva's stretch and shrink so much when they get wet and then dry it's a pain in the @ss. These don't stretch/shrink and they dry really fast! 6 STARS!

I ordered at least 7 pairs of sandals to be used as beach shoes, or water shoes - for playing in the river, or at the beach, or kayaking, etc. Of all of those I found these to be the best bet for me (and the rest went back, thanks to Amazon Prime and Free Returns!!). They are quite comfortable as well as being secure on my feet (not slipping or sliding around). They do have a decent arch support which is important to me and my flat feet. They are easy enough to get on and off with the Velcro straps and so far haven't seemed to "rub" me anywhere. These are the basic black and while I may have preferred a different color, these will go with anything, so they have that going for them also. These are my first pair of Teva's and I can see that I may be looking at more of them in the future. Workmanship seems pretty good and the materials seem to be good quality. Time will tell, but for now I am happy with my selection.

This is my year round walking shoe and as such I get about ten months out of it before the tread is slick. The rubber soles are fairly tacky and give pretty good traction on rock and road surfaces but wear fast. That is a fair trade off for me. I would rather have the sole wear out more quickly than risk anymore slips. Good support and comfort. I love the quick release buckle. It really extends the life of the velcro. They make this in a version without the quick release buckle and the velcro is worn out within 8 months (daily use). The only down side is that this is not a water sandal and you will destroy the straps by walking in them if they are soaking wet. Walks in the rain on level roads where I am not stressing the wet strapping appear to be harmless. Climbing Stone Mountain Georgia with them dry does them no harm. Continued use, while soaking wet, on steep inclines, would ruin them in my opinion. This is my second pair. Third pair in this series. The quick release buckle version is my favorite and the hardest to find. Highly recommended urban walking sandal.

This is my second pair of Teva sports sandals and will certainly not be my last. The last pair I beat up for over five years doing just about any and everything including in the garden pushing a wheelbarrow. It is comfortable, light, cool, stylish and fits my feet like it was made specially for my feet. Arch support is very good as I have very high arches so walking is very comfortable with it. I haven't tried it yet on wet slippery river rock but if it is as good as my last pair, I don't expect any problems there. Will definitely recommend this brand as it is a very good quality and reasonably priced so it represents very good value.

I have had TEVA sandals before and I loved them. I especially liked the ones with the clip on the side. I specifically bought these because the were very similar to the previous ones I owned and loved. These new ones started coming apart right away. The main problem is the straps pulled out from the shoe base as soon as any moisture came in contact. I was able to use “shoe goo” adhesive to repair the strap to the slot in the sole when I read-inserted it. I would have the problem with one strap, I would fix it, then another would come out. I would fix that one, then another would come out. This happened over and over until every strap (8 total) pulled out. They really can’t be fixed until the strap actually pulls out (usually at the most in opportune time). I believe they are using some cheap, water based glue that does NOT work. Even though I have loved the comfort and fit of TEVAs, I would recommend you not waste your money on this once fine product. They seem to have gone to CHEAP without reducing the price.

I own, perhaps 22 pairs of sandals of different types. Living in SoCal that's all I wear for everyday activities. These Tevas are among the most comfortable sandals I own. I walk a fast 5 miles everyday to keep in shape (I'm 68), up and down hills, on trails, cement sidewalks, and macadam roadways and have very flat feet. Usually my feet are killing me half way through my walk. These sandals have great arch support and the soles are rather stiff giving my feet GREAT support for my walks. I absolutely love them. The only negative is that I ordered the turkish Coffee (brown) color and was send a medium grey pair that they don't even show on Amazon. Disappointed in that because just about all my sandals are brown (my favorite color in a sandal)...but other than the wrong color (which I'll get used to) these sandals rank right up there at the top of my inventory of sandals. Buy them, especially if you have flat feet. You'll love them.

I own a pair of slip on Teva sandals for women and they fit great, but I noticed when I tried several pairs of their sandals with straps that the women’s sizes were too narrow for my slightly wide feet. I was very disappointed because I love the cushioning and arch support that Teva sandals provide. On a day to day basis I wear Brooks Running shoes with custom orthotics, but I need something for wearing on a beach or to the pool. I tried Keens, Chacos, and Orthofeet but nothing fit exactly right. I had a friend remind me that men’s sizes tend to be slightly wider than women’s sizes. I actually measured my feet and compared the to Tevas size chart to make sure that I ordered the correct men’s size. My running shoes are size 10.5 W in women’s, but the size 10 men’s Tevas fit perfect (maybe slightly large, but I prefer that to slightly small). I initially thought that I would only be able to wear these for a couple of hours, but I have wore them for several days without any pain in my feet. I am a bit sad to not be able to get the cuter women’s colors, but brown sandals go with almost everything so I am very pleased. My husband loved the look and feel of mine so much that he asked for a pair of his own .

I bought these for my boyfriend to take to a 4-day music festival. It poured one day which lead to massive mud pits and slip-and-slides on every hill. These shoes were AWESOME. They were incredibly comfortable, held traction in severe conditions, and we super easy to clean. I took them outside after our mudfest and power sprayed with the hose. Then tossed them in the wash and let air dry. They look brand new. The snap closure is great for getting in and out of these quickly. My boyfriend usually wears a size 10.5 but these fit better than the 10.5 of another style. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a new pair of reliable sandals!

Was very pleased to see the comfort and quality are still there with this company. My last pair lasted more than 10 years and are still in decent shape but I wanted something new. Great support for your feet and highly recommended

Esperaba este par de sandalias tuviera más correa para poder cerrar mi pié adecuadamente, pero no. No las recomiendo para los que tienen, como yo, un empeine amplio, sólo si eres de pié delgado. El diseño es bonito, y son ligeras, pero no volveré a comprar un artículo de ésta marca. Muy desilusionado.

Great in and around the water, buckle on the main strap is what i was looking for quick on and off of the sandal. Comfortable, durable good grip when things get wet.
