Initially bought this ophthalmoscope 9 years ago. Noticed the light was dim and it wasn't maintaining a charge, so I bought this replacement battery and right out of the box my ophthalmoscope is back to new.

Needed for my old otoscope and works great.

How to make it works
Bought two, which both did not work. After replacing the new battery, I could hear it wiggles inside. The battery will not work because it is short. Add a transmittable electrical wire, inside. You can make a small ball from wires and drop it inside the case then place the battery and it will work. False advertisement. Not true replacement.

Works great
I was initially apprehensive since some reviews said the battery size doesn't fit but it was perfect and about $10 cheaper than purchasing the manufacturers recommend battery. Been working for 4 months so far without any issues.
