Beast, but it will cost you.
Cards a beast. Getting almost 100fps in CP2077 with everything maxed out in 1440p. So far any game I have played has been solid. Albeit I don’t have a ton of game time. But CP2077, Control, GTAV, TW 3 Kingdoms, All run really well. Haven’t really tried on the LG CX in 4K yet, but I plan to. It does get a bit loud under load. But mine is also vert mounted and facing at me. But even then it’s tolerable. I just got my EK block so it will be going under water soon. So that won’t be an issue. I have heard some reports of coil whine. Mine seems to be ok in this regard. Temps are good. Even under full load it’s maxing at around 78c thats with the case closed. Much less with it open. While I still think the 3080 is the best card to get for the $. The 3090 also shines in other areas that require a lot of Vram. Such in my case Fusion360 and Blender. They run so much better compared to my 1080ti. It’s night and day. But still price is a bit too much. If it had been what the 2080ti was when it launched. It wouldn’t be getting so much hate. Great card just overpriced for what you get. Full disclosure ASUS is offering 90 days extension to warranty for review of their product.

ASUS NEEDS TO TAKE MY MONEY AND SELL ME MY 5090 ASSTRAL.
This has been a phenomenal card. I paid original msrp on it. Value far exceeded my expectations. The issue today is NVidia and its board partners. Particularly ASUS. JUST TAKE MY MONEY AND PRESELL ME A 5090 ASSTRAL!!! I had stable temps in 60's and cooling was never an issue until I put in a Ultra 285k. The card performs flawlessly and seems to be even better with a proper cpu and not an i9-9900k It's ran cinebench without failure and no system crashes in furmark stress test, perfectly STABLE. And though all of that, it's the cpu and not the gpu that you will hear fans ramp up.

Awesome GPU if bought from Asus and not a 3rd party
To start with yes, make sure you buy this from Asus and not a 3rd party scalping store. This card is awesome, im able to max out everything and works like a charm.. a luxury charm. Did a quick benchmark without OC (3rd picture) and you can see that it does reflect a 10% better results than a Rog Strix 3080 and more % againts the other lower tier brands such as Zotac. Noise is great, it doesnt bother at all and saw some people in Youtube complaining about a Coil Whine, for some reason its not happening in this one doesnt matter if the fan curve is low, high or around 60%. Temps are great always around 60 at peak, most I have seen is 70ish almost 80 on CyberPunk which then kickstarts the fans at 100% and lowers again to 68ish. Its design its great, looks awesome, loved the goodies and I will pick this again over an Aorus Xtreme. Note: Im still pending to seriously OC it, for now I only unlocked the power consumption limit. Note2: I paired this with a 1300 PSU from EVGA and a sag thingy to keep it perfectly leveled.

How Fast Do You Want to Go?
I'm not really a gamer... I have Flight Simulator. I do content creation with software like Maya, Cinema 4d, Houdini to name a few, I use GPU render engines... Redshift, Vray, Fstorm, Maverick Studio. I had a RTX 2080 Ti and a GTX 980 Ti.... Replacing the GTX 980 Ti my renders have just about tripled with the 3090. One issue I found is if you drive two monitors with the 3090 it is always at 53% fan @ 1000 rpm at 0% GPU usage. After much aggravation I moved my second monitor to a DP on the 2080 Ti and now the fans spin down to 0% when idle. Rendering software like the ones mentioned above do not care which GPU drives the monitors, but Photoshop would crash if the main monitor was on the 2080 Ti. So my main Samsung 28" UHD monitor is on the 3090 and my second Samsung is on the 2080 Ti. Everything works perfect... Microsoft Flight Simulator chose ultra setting by default. Very happy now without the fan spinning for no reason. Today my flight controller arrived. Happy Rendering! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00009OY9U?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Terrible value, did in fact receive the correct retail quality item (in Jan '21)
MSRP has changed a bit and with Strix/ROG branding (or any AIB) you should expected these cards to be more than the ~$1500 Founders edition, this is the way. However, scalpers gaming the system is incredibly frustrating and I ain't got time to watch twitter bots for weeks trying to catch a stock drop. So when I purchased, scalper markup was ~20% and that was an absolute act of desperation on top of already terrible value. Today's prices of nearly 75% over - forget about it... Makes my deal seem good! As for the actual product, it's great. Yes it can play all the games and do all the things, that was never the question. Yes it was a massive upgrade over my 3 generations old middle tier card. No it's not a good financial decision, but I will surely hold on to it at least 3 years like my last card, and it will still probably be playing games at respectable rates. So in that way, I am glad I got it. It's quite large and heavy, significantly more than my old card which felt like it barely fit in my compact case. To my surprise I jammed this card right in no problems. Barely 1/4" to spare and I had to take my front fan out to complete the job, but I was able to get it all back together. I in fact like the edge to edge look. There is a definite coil whine just like reviewers on Youtube point out. Unlike other products I've had with the issue, this tone isn't as annoying. Sort of a droning whistley kind of sound, not the high pitched ear test/tinnitus kind.

Guaranteed Smooth Play & Game Slayer!
I replaced my Asus ROG RTX 2060 Super with this Game Slugger. Do a bit of homework on the specs & you will discover this card Is not as large as the specs suggest Here On Amazon. I'm hoping in proofing my review, they'll change this in their listings. It's around 12.5 inches long VS about 11.8 Inches long for the RTX 2060 Super. This is a critical item; since you'd be hard pressed to find any mid tower that could accommodate a GPU of that magnitude. Fortunately, I'd already decided to move to a full tower, which I’ll review in a few weeks; but pictured here. 24gs of ram also means you can add all the high texture adds ons, like Far Cry 6 with ease. Team this GPU with a speedy CPU and SSD. Your gaming world will be satisfied for quite a while!

The Card is Actually Brand Spankin New and Sellers Were Easy to Work With.
I've wanted to have a 3000 series card for a while but as we all know it was either not possible to get one or the price was so high above MSRP that you'd have to sacrifice a kidney to buy one. Due to the recent crypto crash, prices have dropped. So I finally took the plunge and let my impulse win for once. Seeing the reviews on this page made me very nervous while waiting for the card to arrive. From people talking about the card not actually being "new" to people talking about horrendous coil whine, I was ready to be disappointed. The sellers "Nationwide-Distributors" were very tentative to my questions and very quick to suggest contacting them if the card was found to be used. But to my surprise the card is actually new and unused. Due to the price point I don't think anyone expects this card to perform poorly. But its the noise level that is surprisingly quiet and the temperatures haven't reached above 65C when maxing out games like Escape from Tarkov and DOOM Eternal with RTX on. Very pleased with the card and the sellers.

a real powerhouse
even with the series 40 that are now released. i'm glad i went with the 3090 oc. It seriously kicks ass. their's not a job too tough or too hard for the 3090. Make sure that it fits your case. it's not as big as the series 40 but i assure you that this card is one big mama. i would still recommend that you take a look at the series 40 if you think of buying this card. i'm not saying it's less expensive or anything but still, take to time to take a look, it might just be. Also it requires 2x8pins connector to deliver the 380watts(if i remember correctly) that it takes to power that bad boy when it's workload reach 100%. anyway, i'm satisfied with my choice and i will say that it's a real BEAST.

Received the OC version. Runs well and have additional headroom for OC.
Receive the OC version. Brand new and sealed unit. UPS shipping is very bad though, delayed delivery for 4 days until I called in and schooled them. OC just to try, but this card do not need any additional OC. Probably best to leave it in factory default OC so that it runs on less power and cooler. But nice to know it can still OC further.
