Customizable UI offering a large selection of modes, focusable beam (Flood to Spot), flat regulated output, and a variety of carry options. Best of all the P6R Work comes with Ledlenser's 7 yr warranty(!) The P6R Work User Interface can be customized to operate as eith a Single Mode (from a choice if 10 outputs levels) to Multiple-modes in sequence (2 levels, 3 levels, etc. I tried up to 8 different modes). The output levels/modes can also be set to sequence in any order from turn On, such as Highest level appearing first, Lowest First, Medium First, Strobe First, etc. In addition to the customizable output levels and mode order, the P6R Work's Last-mode Memory feature can be toggled On/Off. When toggleed On, the light will turn On at the most recent/last mode at turn Off. When toggled Off, the light will turn on at the same starting mode/level and sequence accordingly. Additional Features ------------------- Several additional feature/modes can be toggled On/ or Off: (1) Back-up mode - the P6R runs will continuing running on the lowest level rather than simply shutting down when the battery state is drained (less than 25% capacity, Red), and (2) Emergency mode - when plugged and charging, the P6R will turn On automatically, similar to an emergency light, if power is interrupted (such as power outage or light is removed from charging cradle). An admitted flashlight nerd, over the years I've shifted a lot of my flashlights to rechargeable models. The biggest advantage is not having to worry about leaking batteries ruining everything. The P6R Work is a solid, rugged-feeling work flashlight of German design. This is my first Ledlenser product, and I wanted to compare with other high-end lights, along with the lower cost ones from China. Materials and workmanship are all top grade, all the features have been well thought out. Grippy, chunky rubber tailcap and bezel ring. One-button operation, button has an integrated LED to indicate level of charge. Extensive documentation packaged with the light. Interesting 15LM emergency light mode via a supplemental white LED on the body next to the magnetic charging interface. The IP68 rating means this light is dust proof and can be dunked in water. The magnetic charging helps preserve the watertightness of the case but also means this is a unique cable that must be tracked/stored carefully. Like some of the advanced flashlights coming from China, this Ledlenser also has an operating system that allows for customization of light functions. Personally I avoid messing around with that, just need basic flashlight modes without trying to find the instructions in an emergency. Nice nylon case, robust wall mount and belt clip included.
