Superior Conversion Design
I bought this specifically to use for work. I have to bring a lot of stuff back and forth daily, and it was starting to take a toll on my back. This bag is exactly what I needed. This bag is uniquely designed and superior to other bags that convert from a backpack to wheeled bag. Why? Because the ease and speed of conversion this bag offers is far and away better than any other I’ve seen. I ordered 4 bags around the same price point to compare and it wasn’t even close. This was easily the best option. First, the materials and construction of this bag are of a better quality than the others. The fabric, the zippers, and the wheels all of it. Second, but for me even more important is that the backpack straps on this bag are always attached. 3 of the 4 bags I compared, and all other backpack conversion bags I’ve ever owned (whether wheeled or non-wheeled) require assembling the straps. Typically they’re tucked away in a zippered section, and pull out to be clipped onto a ring or loop on the lower sides of the bag. Then of course you have to unclip each strap and tuck them back into the bag to start wheeling it again. On this bag, the cushioned back panel is attached by velcro in 3 places. The straps pull out or tuck behind that panel in mere seconds. I can even tuck the straps in quickly without completely needing to separate the Velcro. The bag is large enough to hold everything I need, and I appreciate the compartments it offers. I’ve been using it daily for about 2 months now, and hope to continue using it for years.

Spinner backpack and bag is easy to pull with lots of room for trips. Super choice for my carpal tunnel suffering hands.
This spinner bag is a super choice for my carpal tunnel suffering hands. My 17 inch Dell (boat anchor) barely fit into the main compartment by tilting it in but it did work. (I couldn't use the side pouch that is designed for a laptop. I am having severe problems with my back, neck, and wrists. This bag was a major relief because it rolls so well. I have gotten several small zip pouches to put my cables and other accessories in so that they do not get jumbled in the big compartment. This bag has a big enough compartment that you can pack for an overnight trip in the main compartment if you can fit your laptop in the side. I love the bright color on the inside so things are visible. There is a zip pouch on the inside big enough for a folder or spiral notebook. Just get some locker dividers or zipped packing bags if you're going to use the big pocket for smaller things. I love being able to roll vertically as well as behind me. So this bag will go on my next flight. It looks well made. I highly recommend it.

BUY IT (READ)
STOP looking and just buy it. I’ve done all the heavy lifting for you. I’m a medical device rep who carries a portable monitor that’s 18.5 inches. It fits just right. This is the DEEPEST spinner backpack on the market. I have a carry on spinner for the overhead bin and this fits under the seat. If you are like me I try to fit everything into my carry on’s so for business trip no checking luggage. This is the biggest nicest spinner you could get for traveling and being professional in an office. Here’s 1 heads up. It doesn’t have a horizontal strap on the back to pull over your main luggage handle but no worries. On Amazon they sell a magnetic strap that is solid and works perfect. Just buy the damn thing.

Waste of money! Looks really ugly when standing!
I had written the review below the dashed line in the first week. Continuing the analogy I gave at the bottom, I conclude that if you really do not like something, do not buy it with a compromise like I did. After using the bag for over a month, I found that the bag is drooping so much in the front that, you feel it will topple any time (but it doesn't) and that makes it look even uglier. It is a waste of money! Do not buy this item. I strongly feel that this is a fake Chinese bag being sold with a Samsonite sticker. I have used Samsonite for several years and have not seen such a bad design from Samsonite. If this is truly Samsonite and note a fake one, Samsonite/Amazon should return my money even if I have passed 30 days window. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pros: The Amazon price of $88 is the best available price than all retail stores. This is one of the best rolling backpacks available. The TSA friendly side pocket for laptop is good and the bag can be used as a good overnighter also with a large middle pocket, but it should have had more pockets/separators in the middle section, just in case one wants to put another laptop/tablet. The spinner wheels and handle is good and rugged. Cons: The black fabric outside is good but the inner red color fabric looks ugly. The bag does not look good when standing on 4 wheels, it is drooping in the front, as if you think it can fall down any time (although it doesn't). I can give an analogy. When you look at the resume of a person and you find everything that you are looking for is available, but overall you do not like the personality... you get that kind of a feeling after buying this back. I will not return this bag as it has all what I was looking for, but I do not really feel great carrying this bag.

Great investment for the price
I love the impartial honesty of the reviews. I’m not usually one to report if it’s negative. Overall I’m pleased with the backpack. It accommodates all my electronics. My only flaw is, it does tend to lean forward. It falls over sometimes but I did mention I carry a lot of stuff in it and use it everyday, in all fairness. I do travel a lot, so it would make sense my wheels are starting to tear with the weight I have in it. I’ve had the bag since November 2024. And maybe I’m a little less aggressive than most (less expectations). But I really feel I made a worthy investment in spite of the flaws mentioned. Overall I am very pleased.

Great carryon luggage
We first bought one of these while in the USA on holiday after one of our own bags broke. It is roomy, light on the back and multi-functional; you can push it by the easy pullup handle, carry it in one hand via the side handle or whip out the straps and throw it onto your back and have free hands! The shoulder straps are wide, can be lengthened to LONG for even a big lady such as myself, and are padded just enough to very comfortable. When we arrived home in Australia, we decided to purchase another bag the same so that next time we travelled we would each have the same comfort and freedom with our carryon luggage. Unfortunately, they are not yet available in Australian retail shops, so we hopped online and ordered one in from the USA. It arrived in no time and actually cost us very little more (including posstage) than the price of the original one bought in the USA! Thanks Samsonite - we love our Spinner Backpacks.

Decent bag. A little disappointing for a Samsonite product
This is my first spinner backpack. I wanted to try one to give my back a break when I carry my old Mac computer, accompanying cooling fan, and whatever else I typically carry for work, teaching, and supervision (sometimes all three in one day). Pros: So far, the spinners are working great over many surfaces. Zippers are sturdy. Lots of compartments. My laptop (13.5 inch) fits fine and even has room for papers. I’ve read most of the reviews so I anticipated the forward tilt. I have not experienced that in this bag yet, but I have in another of my favorite luggage styles from Samsonite. I’ve compensated by not over packing the front compartments and making sure the wheels are pointed in a direction that would help to offset that issue. I like the versatility of rolling or carrying the bag (even though carrying in the traditional way feels a little silly with wheels dangling). Cons: Given what I’ve seen from Samsonite’s luggage, I expected a sturdier handle for the original price of the bag (I bought it when it was on sale). I can see why there are complaints about it and I hope It doesn’t break easily...we’ll see. What I like about my other samsonite back pack (no spinners) was the strap that allowed me to slip the backpack over larger samsonite luggage handles and roll both at once. I loved that feature. This bag does not have that probably because the flat cover for the straps is only held in place by Velcro. Not the safest option? And...well...it has its own wheels. Another of the main reasons I purchased this bag was for the versatility it offers not only in day to day work scenarios but also as a carry on during flights. I recently flew on a domestic flight and paid to check it because I wasn’t allowed a carry on. The TSA agent told me I couldn’t leave the computer in the secured compartment! So quess who had to walk through the airport with a laptop in hand. I don’t know enough about TSA/airlines regulations to dispute this lunacy. But what a waist of money to pay for the bag, pay to check the bag, and then not be able to leave my laptop in the padded, secured compartment. Please do your research before trying to check this bag with a computer in it. If you have a different experience, I’d love to hear it.

It is exactly what I need
Use: I will be using this as a home to work bag. I walk some, take the bus and the metro. Required features: Spinner, room for laptop, books, lunch, iPad, knitting and if necessary enough clothes for a weekend. Comfortable handle or backpack/messenger options. Pros: It rolls wonderfully and fits through different size aisles. I'm not sure about a 17" PC by my 14 x 9.5 work laptop fits fine. The zippers are sturdy and there are enough compartments for all my needs and more. If a laptop doesn't fit in the designed sleeve, there is plenty of room in the main compartment for the laptop and more. The bag is not heavy and has a nice multiple height handle. One person thought the handle felt like it would break easily, but I have had others that were shakier that lasted years. The warranty is definitely a plus along with the sale price! Cons: It is taller than I like and friends who travel more than I do said it would probably not fit under a seat but would be fine in the overhead compartment. I would have liked larger wheels to help in rolling over more surfaces such as some carpets and unpaved walk ways. I looked at all the other PC bags with the spinner feature and they are based on the traditional computer/folder/office design. This was more than I needed. This was the only spinner backpack I could find. I just want to carry my computer without pulling my shoulder out of joint. I want to be able to reach in without having to open the compartment completely too. I like not having to open the whole thing to get to my laptop and feel it is well protected from bumps and gouges.

Does the job but pricey
So it’s a back pack- very roomy. Wanted 4 wheels so it’s easier to move about when I also have a suitcase- it’s not as smooth as a cabin sized spinner case-but is it worth the price? if the wheels were smoother then ok - as it is there are limited wheeled backpacks available meaning this was the best available at the time- but lookout for better less costly models I’f you can...definitely room for improvement

Love it
Love the bag, 4 wheels are.amust for me, but it is a bit bigger than I expected and a bit heavier than what I would like when empty. Not recommended if you are flying with restrictions like 8kg in economy, as this is easy to overfill. Wierdly had a bit of a hassle putting it in the B767 overhead bin. No issues on B787, A3xx and even Embraer and CRJs.
